  1. Yep! Those are the ones............ Thanks!
  2. Thanks, fellas! I put a little extra effort into this one....
  3. Not 100% complete (tail lights and front bumperettes still needed) but I caught the weather just right to take some outside shots..... There is a build thread for those interested....... I want to thank Bill, Paul, and Carl for helping with this one....... Please feel free to comment, Thanks!
  4. My most reliable car was a little Mazda GLC hatch-back......... (Great Little Car, it was!) It had a total of 250K miles on it when I finally retired it. All I ever had to do to it was a CV axle change..... The most fun vehicle was my old truck, a '71 Dodge SWB Sweptline... It would be a Rat Rod by today's standards. Never had nice paint, but the built 318 with Rochester carb, headers, and 3.91 gears made it a blast to drive.....
  5. Thank you, Mark....... glad you like it! This should be under glass in the next few days..........
  6. I've suggested this before, but Moebius could easily make a '63 Plymouth max wedge car using the Belvedere I as a starting point...... It has the correct exhaust and everything.... I know that they could do it right! All the under-hood decals, all the details to make it correct. I've always Loved the looks of this car..........
  7. I really like it! The pearl look works for it...............
  8. Wanted to show you guys what this is gonna look like in it's final assembly........ Still have some small parts to add, door handles, etc.... I think the color combo looks pretty good, it's hard to get a good pic, tho....... Thanks to you that have watched this one, I guess the next post of this build will be "under glass".........
  9. device called television
  10. Hey, friend........ Did you find a stock front suspension yet? I have the one from the Monogram '37 I could send you if you need it........
  11. Thank you, Jeff........ It's a GM color from DupliColor, it's just called "Dark Blue Metallic"...... It's over black primer which gives it a nice rich finish!
  12. So I got to do my favorite part of building today, the paint! Had to go with my second color choice, which I think will look pretty good with the red interior....... I have some wax/polish that's made by Formula1 (it's in a big yellow bottle) that I may go over it with once it's fully cured feel free to comment, and thank you for checking it out!
  13. Since you're wanting to use an air brush, I don't know that this will be much help, but the auto parts stores carry DupliColor touch up paints..... I use the stuff almost exclusively and get fair results. Only bad thing is it kinda limits color choices. They make several primers, (I use black sandable for almost everything), then you use the Perfect Match cans for color and clear with the Perfect Match clear...... That's how I painted this model...... The clear can be polished after it's dried for a couple days...... Hope this is some help.............
  14. I've been listening to the album from moe. called "Headseed". Really like the song "Akimbo"............ Those of you with internet music accounts can easily check it out!
