  3. Thank you, Carl...... Got the foil taken care of! Whew...........! It's not perfect, but it's done.......... Thanks for looking and for any comments..............
  4. That's Funny! I usually just use Craigslist for entertainment purposes...... and there is always plenty of that! Anyone read the "Best Of" stuff?
  5. A welder once told me that the two surfaces being welded together had to be CLEAN clean........ of not only rust, but of oils and grease and stuff..... Have any pics? Someone here can help...........

  8. ".......with Scale Fade" Wow! Thanks, Joe, but that seems to be the MV-22B scheme, I'd like to do the plain V-22 so I can do a solid color if I can......... Would one of those grays on the color chart be what I'm looking for?
  9. Hey, Guys....... I want to order the Italeri 1/48 V-22 Osprey, and I'll need to order the paint for it when I do.... Who makes the light blue/gray color used by the Marines on these aircraft? It will need to be in a spray, as I don't have an air brush......... Thanks for any help!
  10. Got some paint on! This paint job didn't go as swimmingly as I hoped it would.... I got bad orange peel in the second clear coat and had to wet sand that out, then applied one more coat of clear. I hope it's acceptable for you guys! I usually won't paint two consecutive models the same color, but that's just how it worked out...... Thanks...........
  11. Maybe to prep the inside of clear parts, like lenses for lights? I'm interested to know this, too........
  12. Thanks, Marty!....... I've got the body in final primer..... also have the engine pretty much done...... I'll wait until I have enough clear to do everything before I spray any paint. I like to paint and clear in the same day, while I'm "in the groove"..... Thanks for lookin'!
  13. Hey, Guys...... I thought of maybe trying the light blue in the scallops and rear panel, but that paint is enamel and I usually use DupliColor clear which won't work over Krylon. I have some acrylic clear, but I'm not "used" to using it.............. Working on getting the body ready for final primer today.......... Thanks!
  14. Started on the Edsel! Actually I worked on what parts I had until the body arrived..... Here's what I've done to the interior, and a pic of the wheels I'm using... So far on the body, I've removed the scripts and the door locks, and the chrome trim down the top of the fenders........ Plan is dark blue over the light blue interior....
  15. Joe, I believe you, man....... I've had relatives receive phone calls from deceased family members, long before the days of spoofed numbers....... also shortly after the person left us, (my Grandmother), Her rose bush in front of her house made this BEAUTIFUL single rose........... the only one it made that year........
  16. Not that I can find, Casey...... where would I look for that? There is a date stamped inside each body, they are about a month apart..........
  17. Nah, the guy at Round2 was very friendly and helpful......... even though he was a bit frustrated that I had called him with the problem at the end of his work day..... I only had to give them my address
  18. I got the body today! I've never seen more positive placement holes for bumpers and such...... I'm curious, has anyone else bought one of these kits and received the wrong body? I'm hoping that my kit was just a mix-up in packaging.........
