  1. I tried to build one once, didn't turn out so great.......... Have you got one to build, Dann? It is a Really tough kit.............
  2. Here's Callie Pants chillin' in her recliner.... she has her own comforter, too.............
  3. Hey, G! Is the Paddy wagon the one they started you out in? We have NICE cars for the officers here..... new Camaros for the Police, and new Chargers for the Highway Patrol....... black and white with a blue graphic down the side.....
  4. So I talked to a fortune teller today, she told me there would be Money and Travel in my future. I was a bit skeptical until I found a Canadian quarter on the side walk.......... Now I not only have money, but I have to travel all the way to Canada to spend it!
  5. I see some on the bay for quite a steep price.... Why are they so expensive? Do they come with the photo-etch wheels in the kit? or are they just OOP? Would love to get one eventually, guess I should wait until I can find one for a reasonable price.............
  6. Is there a kit of this car in 1/25? I had a small diecast as a kid (it may have been MatchBox) and have liked them since...........
  7. The Revell/ogram '29 Ford pickup has a nice set of "big n little" tires with plastic whitewall inserts....... it comes with steel wheels and chrome trim rings too.....
  8. Bill, is there a way to draw the heat out of your eyes? I've heard a potato cut in half, just tie it to your eyes with a bandana and take a nap...... Does that actually work?
  9. Hey, Steve..... I've tried both the acrylic enamel and acrylic lacquer clears from DupliColor and had bad luck with both. One would craze itself if you didn't use the recommended "window" for extra coats, the other never would cure, it stayed tacky forever. I've been using the Perfect Match clears since then, and usually get pretty decent results from it. I know that you like the perfect match clear, so I would probably just stick with it....... It is tempting because they come in the larger can, tho.........
  10. Lunch today....... another wheat bagel with roast beef, some french onion Sun Chips, and onion & chive cream cheese for the chips. Breakfast most mornings is yogurt and a granola bar (chewy, not crunchy) I try to eat pretty healthy...........
  11. Sounds similar to my roast beef on a whole wheat bagel with "tater tots"........... most nights I eat chicken cooked on my indoor grill. It's always good, and there's a zillion ways to cook chicken! "Chickens aren't pets, they're Food!"
  12. Just remember, 10 & 2, everything else will be a breeze............
  13. I'm a music nerd, always looking for new music to listen to. I don't play any instruments, unless you count banging on my acoustic guitar.... The more obscure, the better! I like to listen to how artist manipulate notes, whether or not they will do what you expect next. That's the main reason I like a lot of the free based jam groups, always surprising you with what they pull out of their hats....... There's not a good video of the song, but if you have an internet music account somewhere, you should check out C2B3's song "Elephant Ghost"..... a 10 minute jam full of surprises..... Oh, and Les Claypool is my hero..... That in itself should make me a Huge nerd!
  14. You know what, Snake? I had actually thought of using a real clock, all it would take would be a small wooden "frame" in the back and a small hole for the stem to stick thru.... put some foam inside the small frame to hold the clock in place. You can get a clock kit for about $6.............
  15. and A good idea! Now I'm thinking a burning candle somewhere.... Maybe him holding a candle in one hand, staff in the other, face of a clock. I learned in Art class about critiques and brainstorming, that's just what this is....... and pieces would always come out better with input from others...... Thanks, Guys!
  16. I'm going to order myself some canvases and paints soon. I have this idea to incorporate the Grim Reaper and a clock into a painting..... I've sketched out a couple of test compositions, and want to hear what you guys might think. The picture will either be of Grim holding a clock, or him with the face of a clock..... So, tell me which one would be more interesting as a painting......... Thanks!
