  1. Thanks for searching these out........... In 1/24, 17" is a pretty good size for a wheel! and The price is nice, too.....
  2. Les my man, he carries exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the suggestion........... https://zforcemodelworx.com/products/mopar-6-slot-steelies-19-20?_pos=3&_psq=mopar&_ss=e&_v=1.0
  3. Thanks a whole bunch, guys....... I'm glad y'all are enjoying this one! With the assembly, it helps a lot not to put the firewall up into the body like the instructions say to do. It works out better to attach the firewall to the interior instead.
  4. Hello, guys! I'm kinda hoping that someone out there has drawn up some over sized police wheels, like is in the Monogram '70 RoadRunner, only scaled out to an 18 or 20 inch wheel......... I'm working on a '60s Dodge pickup, and it would really suit my vision to find a 20" 6 hole cop car rim.......... Anything even similar to what I'm looking for? Something I could use poverty caps on......... Thanks for any help, fellows!
  5. Thanks for the comments, Fellas! It's kinda rewarding coming from those who know what building these things requires.......
  6. Hey, Fellas! Just finished this today...... It's the AMT Z28. This one kinda fought me some, but I believe everyone who has built this kit has had some sort of assembly problems. I didn't do a WIP, as this one was basically just a wheel swap and such..... The ol' "Stop, Drop, and Roll" treatment.......... The wheel and tire combo is four of the rears from the Boyd Smoothster I hope you guys like it, I kinda wish it would have turned out a little better. Thanks for looking, and letting me share!
  7. Hey, Guys! Just wanted to share this line drawing I'm working on............ As primitive as MS Paint is, if you know how to use it you can draw pretty much anything!
  8. Fast learners of that fact kind of have the edge, as they begin to appreciate some things earlier.......
  9. Mikey Likezit, the food critic..............
  10. EVs really are gonna ruin the Planet.............. All of the power stations that will need to be built, will be put up out in the mid-west USA. The same mid-west where we grow much of our food. All of those pollutants are gonna rain down with the weather....
  11. Looks like you've got a "skeeter hawk" there! They're beneficial to us, as they eat the lesser mosquitoes...... We had to do an insect collection in HS Biology, one poor kid caught a lizard and a frog to add to his! Needless to say the teacher gave him the opportunity to redo it...........
  12. That's a pretty bike! I like the angular bodywork, and the color suits it........ I had an early 1980s Yamaha 650 special for a while in my late teens. It was black with gold trim....... I like to go fast too much, and quickly learned a bike maybe wasn't for me!
  13. While most guys may like briefs, my choice has always been boxers...........
  14. Quicker ETs is the main goal of all those in the racing profession............
  15. Hey, Fellas! My old man is in the process of getting his classic MoPar painted. In order to help protect his new paint job, I want to recommend to him that he use a wax that sheets off the water, not one that beads the water. Those little droplets magnify UV rays, and that wreaks havoc on your clearcoat....... So, what do you guys suggest for a good automotive wax? or Do you think something like the ceramic coating being done now would be a good idea? Here's a pic before being painted......... This is the factory paint. It's a really nice 10 footer! I'll post an After pic as soon as I get the chance. Thanks for any help!
  16. 'Sequels' sounds like something a salt-water porcupine would possess...........
  17. I'm not one to usually listen to bluegrass, but the Pickin' On series has a lot of good stuff........... They take popular songs and do bluegrass covers! The band is usually one called Iron Horse.
  18. I've read that George B. was quite the ladies man! 50+ years later, folks are finding lipsticks and such in the customs they built.........
  19. 'Old is simply mind over matter, if you don't mind then it don't matter" to paraphrase Mr. Mark Twain........
  20. Bill, is this the kit you were thinking of? https://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/amt-r2-876.htm This kit, the front suspension from a '37 Ford coupe, and some Pegasus brakes, and you're on your way!
  21. Russell Upsom Grubb, the trails head cook.........
  22. Seymour Rears the proctologist.......
  23. Nathan, man! I believe what I might would do would be try to find some kind of smaller, economical little front-wheel drive car....... Something like a Corolla or Altima. Just a little get-around, for now anyway! You could always save your monies for a classic to purchase in the future...........
  24. Photography jokes sometimes don't 'develop' like we think they should........... (I got the punny joke, My prints will come......... )
  25. I ticked off one of my neighbors yesterday! I've been letting her do laundry at my place because she is without a washer. Maybe 3 or 4 times a month she has been using my machine. This last time she asked to do a load, I said "Sure, I'll call you tomorrow and let you know when....". I call her the next day, she's like 'maybe tomorrow'. So the next day I call her again, and again she puts it off with 'maybe tomorrow'. So I kinda said to her "I wish I could tell people when they can do ME a favor!" Like I have to do her laundry in my machine when it is convenient for her! Anyway, she got mad, throwing in my face the $10 dollars she had recently given me, which doesn't cover the water use or the bleach I used after her laundry........ Plus, you can't put a price on how good of a neighbor I have been to her.......... So, I'm pleased that I won't have to bother with her any more!
