When I first saw your question, I thought of Bill, @Ace-Garageguy and his using real sheet fiberglass to do things such as this......... Maybe he'll join in and offer some advice.
I think I read somewhere (sorry, this is a bit off topic....) that the best way to stop a charging elephant is to charge Back at them! They don't know how to react to that.......

You've had it for 40 some years, that's about right for an anarchy symbol to be popular......... I've seen folks replace their car's factory badge with things such as this. Could also be from a necklace, or something similar maybe?

The only bad thing I've ever heard about the 426 Hemi, is that they were Heavy! In an old muscle car that's kind of a non-issue, as they weren't built to handle anyway......
