Yes after 15 years of buying and selling on ebay, a buyer requested I prove I have funds before even making a bid! The system threw me out three times one evening. Next morning I went through the same process and it was OK, but I still lost the purchase by a pound yes £1!
If it happens again I'm out!

Thanks guys.

We have guests in town for the next few weeks, so my benchtime is basically zero…but I lined up a couple of simple projects for some of our downtime…
Building the Atlantis Groovy Grader - cleaned up the body and ‘frame’ (aka: bent banana) and shot some Createx color:
And I’ve been casually working on a couple of these three-wheeled vans for a future build - one nice and clean, one a little more beaten-up:
Great looking Reliant Three Wheelers!

Today, I washed, dried on started on a super sized (1/24) Fiat 695S, yes as big as that.
Both on the back and the front are mould lines that need carefull sanding.

Yes Jim B It feels like it!

Thanks Keith, yes gloss black instead of chrome, which is difficult to connect the parts. A very short haired brush with enamel high vis paint in small tins and an architects pen around each blob, plus alloy tubing exhaust pipes. It all seems to come together!

At 1/35, fiddly, not easy to connect parts. You get a selection of guns, whatever they might be.

I firstly removed all of the chrome.

I firstly stripped all parts of chrome plating.

Wondering if I should just start a new Topic, Prescott Rally. 🙄 First time I have seen two of these cars, this was at the dealership who hosted the event.
This is our Stage, we had started the rally here, later (delayed) we were a finish for another Stage. So I saw a homemade Jenga. 🤭
This Ford Ranger was a crowd favorite, but some Subarus were still faster.
Nice Lancia Delta's!

Thanks John, no a relatively new manufacturer NuNu.

Thank you TonyK.

Superb! Just as I remember them as a Rally Marshal in the day!

Thanks Jim B. Here's another pic that nearly got away. You can see the steering facing to the right, so the suspension is loaded up on the left going into a corner!
