Yes cobraman ,I'm always searching on Google to find images of wacky vehicles to copy, using plasticard/rod, and spares to copy.

Thanks skid896. At the back of every car there's an area of air depression, so as the original Mini Cooper race cars you point the exhaust into that area, which then takes the exhaust away quicker, thus making the car go faster.

The artists impression.................. Finding an old Union VW Beetle that I'd used as a custom, rat etc. I turned it into......... But right at the end the gloss coat attacked the paint, on the body but not on the doors that I put on last thing. Not wanting to tear it all down I left it alone.

Thanks bbowser, I'm not so much apologising for being retired, but because of that I have more time to concentrate on my hobby of 60 years than most others!

Please remember that I'm retired, have a cabin in the back garden and can be in there for up to 4 hours a day! And now to start getting kits lined up for the 2018 builds!

Yes the famous Fiat 500 but with the 650 or 850 engine fitted for racing/hillclimbing, very nice job.

I'm looking forward to the finished article. I've seen a few of these over the last 50 years and this looks good with either set of wheels.
