    Uncertain T

This came resin cast from Glenn Polkington in Australia..... And this is the finished item, all I needed to find was clear plastic for the front and rear windows. I also added alloy intakes on top of the engine............. Being a resin kit the wheels had to be painted as in the original Monogram plastic kit they were chromed.
  2. Thanks Jimmy.
  3. Looks very good, the stance is just right, as are the rims.
  4. Yes I agree with espo, the rear door size as it's a two door should go back nearly to the front edge of the rear wings/fenders. As said to enable the rear passengers room to get in.
  5. Thanks Mark.
  6. Thanks for sharing this one John, superb finish.
  7. Superb! Good to see that you've got the right stance and correct suspension height. I find that most of them are too high when completed.
  8. Thank you John. Just keeping to the instructions!
  9. Superb kits/builds! We can't get these in the UK as yet.
  10. That looks just great Len. Having been to Le Mans twice, you can tell when a Corvette is approaching as they are one of the noisiest car's there!
  11. Thanks Jim.
  12. Fantastic builds well done! I remember these vividly as they were built and tested not far from where I live. As were the first AC Cobras.
  13. Thanks Bruce. The kit box depicts #5 but I preferred #41.
  14. Built box stock with the addition of #41 decals from Mikes Decals...
  15. Super job on this one Ian. The chassis is identical to my Lumina build with the Dave Marcis #41 I'm just about to finish. (Kellogs Corn Flakes)
  16. Right I've got the new sheet of decals. But....it only has the Kellogs markings and numbers and no side multiple sponsor markings, so I'm cutting those out of other decals to complete the look! I have the GoodYear tyre decals but can only be added to the rear of the tyres (as per the instructions) as the front face has the moulded logo's. OR of course cut the ridge out of the inside of the tyres to have the smooth side shown outwards and add the decals!
  17. Superb looking pair of 911's. I like both, but the Minilite type wheels on the yellow version look particularly good, well done!

    Bored

I built my first Rat Rod, Chassis etc recently. I had a front end but wanted it lower/stronger rear section to take the scratch rear axle. Keep going to what you think it should look like. I Google search for images of Rat Rod chassis, bodies, suspension etc. to see what I would like to fit to it.
  19. Fantastic build John well done!
  20. Amazing build, well done. Amazing Italian styling and performance! Superb real sportscar.
  21. Thanks Donald, it's nice to know I've done it right!
  22. Good to see, as I'm building one of these right now and Mike's Decals are sending me a new sheet for #41!
  23. Thanks Ed for your input and photo. It looks very good indeed.
  24. Thanks guys, very much.
  25. Thanks guys, one of just a few Nascars I have.
