    Ferrari Mythos

This is built box stock, polished plastic with a clear gloss on top, no decals as for me anyway, difficult to decal onto raised embossed logo's........... Perhaps I should have shaved off the logo's, then decalled.
  3. Hey Blair you must have a bus and van production live going on! Superb again.
  4. Superb, I wish I had a school bus like that to take me to school.! Well done Blair.
  5. Thanks Dann. I'm building something at the moment that might be finished by the weekend, but no promises!
  6. Hey Jim that's brilliant, I like your own crazy Scale Auto Parts decals, superb!
  7. Thanks Chris, I'm always looking to do something different!
  8. Cheers Jeff, I thought it would be different to convert it to road use.
  9. Although Ettore Bugatti was born Italian he started and built all of his cars in France. This is a depiction of a fictional retired EB110. Living near the Silverstone Circuit in the UK, when they have classic car meetings, there are people who drive to the meetings in racing cars that have been converted to road cars after their racing careers are over........ this one I've registered in Italy. You can see that the body and paint have seen better days but the chassis and engine are still capable of high speeds......

    Bmw gt3

Yes fantastic work on the decals on this BMW Z4 GT3. I built an earlier model from Fujimi that just had the BMW logo's and body stripes, nice kit.
  11. Yes Jim, not a big job, just fancied building something else while the paint/gloss clear dried on a Bugatti.
  12. Thanks Jake. We don't discriminate here in the UK, if it fits, it fits no matter what make!
  13. Thanks guys. Yes Tony we had the same results. Some gt and lower formula gays were making silly comments about the 250 Karts until they were beaten hollow by a significant margin, and not believing that the Karts could pull away in corners. Althought the others had much wider tyres and thought they had an advantage and get a faster lap they were sadly disapointed!
  14. Thanks guys for your comments. The fairings look OK on the boxtop, I just didn't fancy putting them on! We don't use them on the smaller engined Karts.
  15. Here's the boxtop.....
  16. Yes I wish when we went racing they had some sort of pads to save the bruises!
  17. Thanks for your comments. Well unclescott58, that's how they are, still racing in this form and although now 68, I've driven some of these about 5 years ago, on an indoor track. Yes mine had the fuel tank on the left with the engine on the right and when you get up the next day you have a large size bruise under your left arm/elbow where the tank bounced up and down on the concrete surface. And yes the right arm, right side was very warm. I did circuit marshalling at Silverstone Circuit about 5 miles away for nearly 30 years, and whilst there the world championship of karts came to us each year. A friend of the family who has lived in the USA for some years now, had a 250cc watercooled kart with a fully faired body, and coming through the start/finish straight with others of the same were topping 150 mph, in the top class karts! All the juniors here start at 5 or 6 years old with a 50cc engine looking identical to this, and through the age groups go up to 175cc (I think) which was the karts Hamilton and Rosberg (F1 drivers now) raced at 10 years old. Fantastic sport!
  18. This took me a few days and I rattle can sprayed the frame Copper instead of the Black as suggested.
