  1. Great looking Tyrrell. I built the 1/12th Tamiya version when they first came out 20 yeras ago? Also it was one of the first F1 cars I saw when I started race marshalling at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK in the 1970's!
  2. Tomo that looks fantastic!
  3. You shouldn't Mike because you can't miss it!
  4. I seem to be on an Urban Camo kick at present, as well as my McLarem MP4-12 earlier. And more>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> More............................. Whereas with the McLaren MP4-12 earlier I used decals, this one I painted instead.
  5. Amazing, Cool!
  6. Cheers Dan.
  7. Yes strange changes. I've tried to comment on one thread and it sent me back to the first page to answer on someone els's comment. Not user friendly yet. Lighter print on a white background is difficult to see/read . I've got three 'chat' notes at the top of the page that don't relate to me/ involve me! My 'chat room' has now been closed because there are too many comments by others that don't relate to me! Each time I try to return to my previous page I was on throws me out somewhere else, Don't like it signing off!!
  8. OK shaun there's plenty of time, just pace yourself.
  9. Super job on this build! Well done. Richard was a local guy, so used to see him around and at Silverstone race circuit on his days off on his big bike, spectating.
  10. Cheers Gary.
  11. Cheers Ray. Yes Brizio that sort of camo!
  12. I thought so too, especially when the Camo Lambo seems to be in Monte Carlo!
  13. I've had the decal problem many times with older kits. If you can find the images through say Google search you can copy them save to picture files and print them onto white decal paper that you can get from the Crafty Computer Paper Company online.
  14. well done, very different and it takes pics too. They have tried to outlaw these in the UK, something silly about 'privacy'!
  15. Well done Tommo, I bought one about 18 months ago, I think it took me all of a day to clip it together. It's a pity they didn't bring out a detailed one.
  16. Thanks guys, yes getting to the beach would be just a blurrrrrrrrrr! jb nice bike, I wondered how they came out with the PE spokes, neat. Scott we see people buying christmas trees, then getting to the car and not knowing how to get them home. We have a culture here where drivers love their electric sun roofs, so put a cover on the front passenger seat, and stand the tree there and stick it through the roof. Or seen last xmas someone tying the tree to the roof. the rope/string going around the door handles and then realising they can't open the doors to get in! Duh!
  17. and the last few......................... and.................. Enjoy!
  18. more.......................... with topbox as well.............................. far too much fun................................ more>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  19. more.................. the car built with an extra seat.................... the topside of the surfboard................... the underside of same, with carbon fibre decal.................. more>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  20. My inspiration......................................... The kit.............................................. The extra's............................... and.............................................. more>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  21. Nice work Tomo. I've used the old oven cleaner a few times now to strip the plating.
  22. Brilliant photo's thanks for sharing.
  23. That's correct martinfan, the factory that build the racing Cruze is just up the road from here in the UK, They come in as road cars and are stripped out, seam welded bodies, rollcages etc right up to now customer race touring cars as Chevrolet have withdrawn support. They are mainly seen in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). Ray Mallock runs his family business from Wellingborough. His father built a range of lightweight sportsracers back in the 1960's. They built the Nissan Zeod, an arrow shaped endurance racer that races in Le Mans series worldwide. They do a lot of research work for many major vehicle manufacturers.
  24. Thanks Gary, yes I like to 'change' or 'update' builds as I go along. There's another sports car on it's way but again it's 'different'! It's like the tyre decals, as large as possible, so I've bought (not the Potenza) 1/20th scale to see if they fit!
