Cheers Ray, that's why I wanted it to look like the real one, thanks!

So this is my take on the drift car. Firstly the Interior with the modded sides of a Nascar roll cage and the rest in plastic tube. My own seatbelt decals with two spare race seats from the parts bin. The rear view shows the rollcage and alloy tube exhaust tips. The C1 resin parts fit well with the arches shaped to fit the body contours. I've painted the wheels as close to the subject car as possible. The induction pipes on the engine are in cut alloy tube, but I don't have a flaring tool for the tops of the pipes. I also fitted a pre-wired distributor and extended the rollcage into the engine compartment for extra safety.

This is a Revell 1969 Ford Mustang kit plus C1 Resin Transkits for wheel arches etc and Halibrand Wheels with rubber tyres. This builds up the Vaughn Gittin Jr drift car.

I see from a build on here that the white decals have cracked already, something I would have expected from a kit left in the box for 10 years plus!

Super looking build! The friend I go to Le Mans with was one of the pit signalers for this car at Le mans when it won the race in 1991!

Great shame with the decals! Strange that although this is a new kit and the issues you mention about hold-ups in the distribution. I've been buying a lot of older kits recently, so I scan the decals onto my PC first, before trying to lay them up, perhaps this is one answer.

Just the job Atmobil great build. I've recently bought one of the Baja resin kits mentioned on here, so this is going to inspire me to start it, thanks for sharing.

C1 Models 69 Camaro & Mustang Wide Body Kits

I had to import the '69 Mustang kit from the states, I already had the C1 parts kit and kidney bean wheels. Pretty easy to place and fit as there are grooves in the resin arches to fit the body styling, remembering to cut out just enough of the wheel arches first! -
Fantastic Chuck, I like it very much including the wild teeth!

Hey Bantoft, brilliant build and finish well done! A fellow air traffic marshall at Silverstone circuit here in the UK has one in that factory colour in standard trim with the steel wheels.
