  1. I started this kit last week.................... It has a double depth box as it can depict, USA, Euro and Japanese Toyota 86 and it's Scion equivalent. Lots of parts......................... In this build I shall use this photo as a guide, just with metalic red paint.
  2. Super British classic sports car. Well done Unfortunately Miss Rigg's co-star Patrick Macnee died just last week.
  3. Neat little Euro-Cabrio, Looks very good.
  4. Super cool British sports car! Looks fantastic, well done! There will be a few of these at the British F1 race this weekend just 5 miles from where I'm sitting! Road cars that is.
  5. It's really looking good so far. Another great build on the way!
  6. I'm not a drag racing fan but it just shows what we can do in modelling to build a car using imagination, extra parts and perhaps a few scratchbuilding skills as well! It looks great so far, so aggresive. I'll be watching this build right through.
  7. Superb Jason, I see a few of these each week with Mercedes-Benz UK HQ just up the road!

Hi jb,I'll see if I can get the other pics back. Yes I painted on the yellow line only to have the No. 19 decals collapse under Microsol! I used Revell Clear on the bug screen on the bonnet, it tends to be tacky so holds a little, I then laid one of my thin hobby files behind it and left it overnight to cure. There you go jb all pics back!

Thanks guys, that word Ultraman crops up again Wilson, has anyone got a photo of the box please? Yes Chuck go for it. I also spotted this on Pinterest yesterday...................... Stanced and slammed!
  11. I've still got one of the original Heller Norton Commando's on my shelves. A neighbour bought a Norton Dominator '88' when his dad won the 'Football Pools' back in the 60's, he was old enough to ride it on the road, I wasn't! So I rode on the back.
  12. Another of your great looking stanced builds. Well done.

Thanks guys, yes the car was very good in competition with such a small engine, typical Japanese efficiency. Yes I also like out of the ordinary vehicles.
  17. This was an endurance racer during the 1960's, this version raced in 1968 the year I was married..................
  18. As with the other post, superb dio as well. Yes when I take pics outdoors I normally get something that I didn't want that's far out of scale!
  19. Nice project, looks just great!
  20. Very, very nice and different too!
  21. Yes Geoff I've seen some of these when I was a RAC Rally marshall in the 70's and 80's flying along with their tiny two-stroke motors smoking away! Superb video Geoff, just as I remember them. There was also the Skoda 110's and the 3 Cylinder two-stroke Saab 96.
  22. Good looking Corvair. I also have one on the shelf and looking at a circuit racing version, with turbo if I can find enough engine pics to use for the installation. I see some of you have hot weather, it's just 50F here in the UK with snow forecast in Scotland, a little later than normal!
  23. Nice looking scoobies Tomo. The Prodrive factory is about 20 miles from here so we saw quite a few of the various prototypes, camo'd up of course! I've built a few of these kits, but got fed up with the blue so did one in satin black! The decals show up particularly well too!
  24. Well Geoff your a brave man, trying a Trabi. I've seen quiet a few around Europe and even further afield, but none of them had glossy paint! I was going to buy one of these estate car kits and turn it into a touring car racer, with BBS rims race seat and a roll cage, but of course if it did roll over the cage would be OK but the body would disintegrate! It reminds me of the old Reliant Robins! On my way to work one morning, there was a strong side wind on the road. I was just about to go over a railway bridge where there was the brick parapets on each side of the road. All I could see was a pile of fibreglass and further on the bare chassis of the Robin with only the seats, engine and gearbox. Of course he had kept the steering over to keep it in a straight line against the wind and coming across the brick wall it swerved across the road and smashed itself to bits! Sorry I'm getting of the point, good luck with the kit, but the paint seems to be of some concern.
