A few more bits!

Having built a greenhouse for my wife just ten years ago, she wants me to build another but a shade smaller! But this one won't be growing real tomatoes/cucumbers/chillies/flowers or peppers, just scale model versions! I completed the Greenhouse door today. A few problems during the build were: finding that the 'glass' was too small lengthways and opaque, plus the clear glue supplied has hardened slighly so difficult to get out of the squeezy bottle. So taking the top off and using cocktail stick to lift it out. I collect clear plastic retail packaging, so easy to measure and cut.

All very nice but no tyres!

I had to put a truck rear view mirror on it to see round the side of the camper shell!

Finished, the Citroen 2CV Converted to a camper.. I had to use a truck mirror to see round the side of the camper shell!

Thanks Pierre Rivard. David, I know nothing of any RC Cars. I had one of the first Tamiya Beetle Sand Scorchers about 35 years ago, but the batteries were so lacking in power for more than 15 minutes I got rid of it!

Mounted on the chassis, lights and extended mirror to add, plus possibly a camo paint job! Difficult to spray paint so maybe a bit of brush work!

Nearly, nearly! I thought of woodying it but with the 600cc engine it would never move! It looks grubby so I will have to come up with something! It will have an 'L' shape corner trim around most of it.

The prices are right but to import one is nearly $30!

Does anyone know if these producers of Nascar Models going to produce any pick-up kits?

An already started one of these. I just hope that the decals are 100%! 22.04.24 Arrived today all parts there, and decals look okay, but not tried.

Thanks JollySipper. Yes I also have some wood drills with a sharp point and a round blade, various sizes. I drew one on some scrap plastic and used a sharp craft blade, that seemed to work OK. But time will tell after a few different ideas.

Citroen 2CV update. I couldn't think of anyway to construct a camper shell other than on the base vehicle. This is the high-tech template for the camper sides, I've yet to work out how to cut for windows!
