  1. We don't see shops with models like this here in the UK!
  2. Do a google search, we are in the East Midlands only Hobbycraft here with Tamiya and Revell kits. Most actual stores have closed and gone online, sorry!
  3. Built box stock, nice kit and super decals! The decals for the spotlights are bigger than the lamps so I gave the impression of them being held on with elastic straps.
  4. Italeri Audi Quattro. I drove the first import road car from Germany, many moons ago. When building this kit be aware of many parts with flash and parts unfinished on the sprue. First front suspension leg, with no pin to locate into the top of the wheelarch, also fit the rollcage, before the interior side panels not as the instructions ask. Update-19.08.23, starting the decals! Update 20.08.23. That side done, the other side tomorrow!
  5. To have a stable three wheeler the single wheel needs to be at the back ala Morgan not at the front!
  6. The body is unpainted, just added two CND (ban the bomb) decals from the 1960's and 70's. Not a favourite build, poor quality plastic, difficult to get top to line up, because it's 1/32 very smaller fiddly parts.
  7. Cheers Bill. Finished photo's on the completed section.
  8. Are they to go with the Beetle in the background?
  9. As my hands are shaky enough, this is possibly my last 1/32 scale build. Airfix Bond Bug.. I don't know whether I shall paint all of it or not!
  10. Yes in my early days here in the UK we saw all manner of DKW's, plus early SAAB's with the three cylinder two stroke motors, and DAF small engined small cars with variomatic gearboxes.
  11. Nice Lexus, we don't get many here in the UK!
  12. Thanks Bob, yes Hot Curl can't see a thing!
  13. Thanks guys, yes there's taco's next door to the lockup.
  14. Very neat. I've not seen this kit here in the UK.
  15. After attempting some scratch-building that didn't work I'm back to building something reasonably simple. I mislaid the clear parts sprue, so using some clear retail packaging I cut out ther front a rear windows and headlight lenses, plus adding door side windows. No! That's far too big, try these...

I mislaid the clear parts sprue, so using some clear retail packaging I cut out ther front a rear windows and headlight lenses, plus adding door side windows. That board is just too big so...
  17. Start again building kits, not scratch-building! Lindburg 32 Ford B Pick-up. Lost the clear parts so using retail plastic packaging. Cut out front a rear windows and headlight lenses, but also added side windows! So started the engine chassis build-up.
  18. Superb weathering work. I built one of these a few years ago.. I look forward to seeing yours completed, brilliant work so far!
  19. Superb pictures. I have seen both Alfa and Lancia race and rally over 20+ years of race and rally marshalling. That was 40 years ago when I was only 35 years old!
  20. Update, 07.08.23, about to abort! Just had a chassis fall apart, after days of trying, I think I'll go back to building kits!
