  1. Going well stitchdup! I built my teardrop quite a few years ago now..
  2. Brilliant job! I've built this a couple of years ago.. As a surfboard hauler with trailer and made extra boards and home printed the decals.

    AMT Surf Woody

Thanks guys, yes I thought to do a roof chop, using the roadster screen as well. Now I've got to find a new project, perhaps a six-wheel manx buggy?

    AMT Surf Woody

    Thanks Gareth.
  5. It was a travel pack holding nail clippers, but the clippers (5 years old) broke last week. So with a bit of careful work with my razor saw gave me these.. When painted and /or decaled two roof boxes, hey presto!
  6. Weird but wonderfull!

    AMT Surf Woody

Thanks Nigel. Yes I bought and built an Ice T last year, great kit, and I had to work out how to tint the ice blocks as well. You can still teach and old dog new tricks in my case. I only 73 next month!

    AMT Surf Woody

Thanks guys for your comments. Gerald I'm so sorry to hear your plight! In Scotland it has been -16C last week and very heavy snow and here in the East Midlands (right in the centre 60 miles north of London) -10C last week but only 1 inch of snow! Here we are talking more and more offshore wind turbines and Solar Panels. Whereas our oldest son is in Calgary Alberta. -15C week before last, but with the wind chill factor -40C last week! All the very best to you all in these uncertain times.

    AMT Surf Woody

I have built a few of these over the last 5 years or so. One of my previous builds, shows modified sides, cutaway with portholes, full height body and windscreen. But with the latest one, using the sports windscreen, short surf board, roof rack and hearse short roof all supplied in the kit. I cut down/lowered the sides and added home printed 'woody' decals.. Display in box with kit.
  14. On the way from Hiroboy in Cheltenham, for my birthday next month (17th St Patricks Day) only 73!
  15. Castings.. Bed fence Bumper bike carrier.. Another bed fence scratch rod, just added wheels/tyres.. Rally bonnet night lamps Roof rack & Surf Boards.. Prosthetic arm.. about 15 years ago.. Not a great deal, but some parts.
  16. It looks great, super colour!
  17. Brilliant! I've never had the guts to try something like this, I'm just too safe or is it scared!

    Glitter Bug 3

Thanks guys, yes these are good but we didn't see the first ones here in the UK, perhaps they were seen as too 'Way Out'!

    Glitter Bug 3

To add to 2 others I've built, I've added one where the owner has yet to decide the body colour, so no 'Glitter' yet for this bug. The owner driver has added 'Hellaflush' side decals so far but as he has finished his previous one we thought as an old British saying is, when you've done well, 'Give the Man a Cigar' so I did! Now with his previous ones. You can tell straight away which one he uses on the beach and the yellow one his daily driver.
  20. Well Anthony (my middle name) Thanks for the comments. We don't see these AMT kits here in the UK very often, so I bought this as soon as it popped up on ebay UK. The 3D rack was from Shapeways the 3D printers site. In raw soft plastic. Painted with the sprue struts removed to fit it to the roof.
  21. Similar to the ones we've seen in Australia.
