It's crashed and burned! Whoever/whatever they stuck together with was awful. I could neither remove anything nor add anything! I tried every method that I knew and searched on various sites other methods to reduce/remove the glue to no effect at all. So it's gone! Ah I kept the wheels and tyres.

Good job, so far. Having not seen the film you mention, but the real thing in the day as a race marshal and knowing also in the day Walter Wolf trackside in the pits etc.

This was my only try at hydro-dipping. It worked out OK.

28/08/21. It's landed at last! It's in the wash! When I've finished re-building a glue bomb L'ill Coffin and a new Heller Renault R4 I can get on with this! I've seen pics of many builds and the colour changes builders have made of this kit, I'm contemplating colours etc. I must find a wired distributor to start with.
