Yes Tony the only number plate I could find, and yes again I had the monster too. I'll have to do some heavy research to see what paints I need to use for that one!

One of many JF resin 'kits' I would like but shipping costs hinder progress. I bought this for my Christmas present this year. The 'kit' is a body shell an interior front to back and a long plate/chassis to mount the two axles on, plus a sheet of clear plastic for the windows. Included in the box was two radiator shells and two pairs of front and rear bumpers. They also sent a big of a mixture of resin skulls and Hot Wheels cast logo's! I had to raid various spares boxes for the interior and wheels/tyres, front and rear lights and marker lights, seats/steering column and steering wheel. I also left the drivers door window half open and added a windscreen wiper and sun visor/shade, rear drivers mirror and rear number plate. I cut out the closed resin rear windows and added rear window glass in those doors, and chequer plate on the rear bumper.

It's a pity they don't make these in either 1/24 or 1/25 as they look very interesting to build!

A Jimmy Flintstone 1954 Metro Van, recently shipped from the USA to here in the UK. The body is about finished, so bumpers front and rear and windows to measure, cut and fit, plus front light lenses.. Interior part done so just the 'chassis' to measure, axles and wheels/tyres to fit and then work out how it fits inside the body as there are no mounting points for it. This I understand depending on the ride height you want in the final look. From my large collection of spares I've found some small round clear lights to fit front and rear after adding clear red acrylic. Oh and I'm thinking about a front visor/sun shade and windscreen wiper. Update 27.10.2021..

Yes Claude, although I had never heard of that product I have found it for sale and the manufacturer in the UK, yes it is a small world!

This is a photo in my garden cabin about 6-7 years ago, I now have three more of these display cabinets in there now and a spray booth. They are IKEA Billy Bookcases with a glass door supplied as an extra. All of the shelves are clear plexiglass cut from a 6footx 4foot sheets.

Hi Claude again. AH! Vim here changed it's name to Jif (and they added a liquid to make it a quite thick paste), which was rude in some countries they were trying to export it to, so it changed to Cif which is on the shelf under the sink in the kitchen! Some modelers here use toothpaste to shine up scratched car windscreens on their models.

Interesting methods although neither of the products you mention are available here in the UK. Also(perhaps that's what you both mean) a plastic/foam dish sponge with semi-harsh pad.

I just use various grades of nail boards. Rough scuff loose the shine, only brand new cars off the car forecourt have shiny tyres, not used cars.

Another mash up. Bought this kit with more missing than the previous one (still can't find a whole one) No Running Boards/Fenders, Radiator grill and chrome Stingray bike. At least the 'Dude' is in one piece. Added front grill, flip flops and tattoo for the 'Dude'. Also wheels/tyres from spares box and roof rack. Oh and rear door drops down.

I bought another MPC 'The Wild Ones' Parts box. So have had to do a mash up of bits because so many kit parts were missing. New nose cone, no running boards/fenders/wheels/tyres/radiator shell, but one whole 'Dude', so gave him a tattoo on his back and flip flops! Oh and a roof rack from somewhere else!

Your very lucky to have a local modelshop. Here in the UK they are very few and far apart. We have a Hobbycraft store with only Tamiya stuff, they have just stopped selling Airfix so one of my contacts says. Tiny glue bottles, small bottles of paints and very few small brushes. No spray stuff at all. Another about 15 miles away concentrates on RC and railways and that's about it. We have to buy online, pay for shipping and wait in for deliveries.
