  1. While we were taking a few days off at the coast, a brand new Ford Mustang. Good that they now supply them with right-hand drive.
  2. I like the resin wheels & tyres, I've looked on the web but can't find their site.
  3. Yes the same problem we have here in the UK with Amazon. Small items, one huge box!
  4. A Revell BMW I-8 Electric, on my shelf for about 12 or more months. Realised that I hadn't started because to was moulded in dreadful black like a funeral car, so had to paint it. It must be some sort of camo!
  5. Thanks again David for setting me on the right track of actually doing something about it.
  6. Right.. Ah Ah! Well said afx thank you so much!
  7. I notice that when I transfer my photo's from Fotki they are far smaller than others that are posted on here although on my pictures folder they fit the screen of my PC. Some I notice fill the space when answering a post. Mine seem to be about 1/12" to 2" square and others comment that mine are so small, so how can I enlarge them to fit the space available please?
  8. Hi Scott, We are about 160miles south of Manchester. IN Buckinghamshire. So about 20 miles east of Oxford and near the new town of Milton Keynes, renowned for a grid road system and the largest number road roundabouts in any town/city.
  9. We ere on the top deck of a bus returning from Christmas shopping in Oxford. When we stopped at traffic lights to let students cross I looked down into a front garden across the road, a very large house no doubt turned into student flats. I saw a new bright coloured Ford Mustang (Yellow or Orange) The number plate caught my eye: MU51 ANG. Interesting. The Mustang sells quite well now here in the UK as it comes in Right Hand Drive as that keeps the registering easy and insurance costs at a reasonable price, the car selling at £42,525. And the Mach-E electric at £42,530.
  10. Well I'm in the centre of England so away from the North and Scotland who due to Storm Arwen have had about 7 days of high winds, snow and no electricity! Our Government are trying to get us away from coal/wood and gas heating to all electric ground source heat pumps (about £15.000) and solar panels that have amazingly doubled in price! But of course if the wind doesn't blow the off shore wind farms can't supply any electricity as is the problem in Scotland. So our climate here is about 3 Celsius on and off. we've had two mornings at about freezing point but nothing too cold. We are lucky here as being right in the centre or what is called the East Midlands no really bad weather reaches us.
  11. Thanks Scott I hope the weather is not too bad where you are.
  12. Well thanks guys, I've had the most favourable replies ever!
  13. Thanks David for the heads up. I'll search 'How to enlarge photo's on my PC, to post on forums. Being over 70's neither of us have I Phones. We have dumb phones to make calls but are not interested in anything else, far too complicated as they always 'write' stuff in a language that's not English, it gobble de gook.
  14. Thanks guys. I have a couple of new pics today, The Team Photo and if your pushed for space in your garage you can always put the Bronco on the trailer!
  15. Hi the finished Bronco, trailer and buggy are on the completed thread.
  16. Yes just a slight coat of Acrylic colour sand brushed on! Acrylic dries on rubber enamel doesn't it wont dry.
  17. Right David, a few folks have commented on the pics being small. But as a non-techie who is 70+ how do I enlarge them?
  18. Thanks guys. Tom, I bought a kit from Scale Equipment years ago and have refurbed that as well. Pics to come. And here they are after a quick dash into the cabin in the garden where all is stored!
  19. All done. Shaky hands trying to do the side markers!
  20. It looks more like a 60's Ford Anglia 105E Panel Van.
  21. A different F1 car, the Aoshima Ogre AN-21
  22. Some 3D printed wheels and tyres plus brake disks which I've started painting. I chose these as they have off road/ rally chunky tyres, all of the others had smooth racing tyres.
