  1. Thanks Rusty, yes assembled with care turns into a fun build, and another yes regarding the pilot. I must get some research including old pictures of pilots in the day to complete his paint.
  2. Well we have a few more photo's from today. There is a clear windscreen across the tops of the machine guns that was a loose fit so just a drop of cement holds it in place. With the pilot figure, the only part needing paint. Just the decals to come. I've taken the option to hang two standard bombs underneath rather than just on round bomb. Care needs to be taken with snapping together parts as sometimes the holes are not quite large enough to take the next component.
  3. Thanks guys, more photo's of the build on the way.
  4. Yes Endeavour, a younger police detective earlier known as Morse the older detective. Both series over many years filmed 20 miles from here on the streets/countryside around Oxford.
  5. Thanks guys, yes there is a German SPAD X111 with Rickenbacker pilot as well.
  6. This is a snap kit already coloured, good for someone like me that is now at 74 next week struggling with painting. Instructions: Decals: Parts: Suitably ready coloured.. Cockpit already done: and four parts of the engine built.. There are various clear parts including a complete fuselage if needed to build showing the interior.
  7. Thanks guys. Yes I like to think/see things differently or re-purposed I think it's called, for civilian use.
  8. Well in the post to me. I love TOONS! I know they are not everybody's cup of char/tea, but to a 74 year old (next week) they are fun and a shot in the arm!
  9. A bit more on the Hasegawa Lancia 037..
  10. So when is Amelia, getting to fly the Stinson? When she is a teenager?
  11. Yes Alexis they would have had, but we are talking generally about all types of float planes, military or civilian as I have flown in, in Alaska.
  12. Superb! Just as I saw on the tracks in the day.
  13. As I've now finished the Ogre Fantasy F1 car, I start on a rally car, a Hasegawa Lancia 037..
  14. Not new but bought before I signed up here, but I'm ready to build. Yet another rally car I saw on the stages as a marshal in the day!
  15. Thanks guys. It goes together really well, nice kit.
  16. Cheers Rich, it was all the masking tape I went through and then scraping bleed off again! Oh the drivers name is Bleed as well!
  17. Fantasy F1! I must find builds without such difficult paint schemes. Just added tyre decals 1/43rd fronts and 1/24th rears.
  18. Superb! Brings back great memories of my time marshaling at the Silverstone Circuit just 5 miles away!
