  1. I bought this kit years ago. Having recently had problems with paint (+masking) or lack of it I found a spray can of gun-metal grey I popped this out of the box. As I have no white matt or gloss at present, to get the white strip along the body I cut off the excess/margin of white decal paper having used it to print other decals. I've also finished the interior, the neon roll cage is perhaps not factory colour but...
  2. Very neat indeed! I'll be very pleased if mine turns out like this!
  3. Thanks guys for your valuable input!
  4. Yes even I saw that one here in the UK!
  5. Already done it! With 3D roof carrier.
  6. Cheers, nice to hear from someone who knows what they are doing!
  7. Thanks Nigel. We saw various types of these at various visits to the Bug Jam near to us at Santa Pod and at the Volksworld Shows at Sandown Park over the years.
  8. Cheers Les. My hands are shaking already!
  9. As much as possible. I have seen various kits shortened and wanted to trie it myself.
  10. I need advice because I don't want to get this wrong!
  11. Wow Superb work! I have a Tamiya Porsche 910 on the shelf, 1 I'm terrified of the detail, 2 I don't have cabinet space once it's finished. Having space only for Ikea Billy Bookcases with glass doors the shelves are OK for 1/24 or 1/25 and small planes 1/12th is just too big!
  12. Looking good, very good!
  13. Super colours, well done!
  14. Thanks guys! Best was only painting the orangey bits on the plane and brush painting the gun and jeep!
  15. I'd build an ultra short wheelbase.
  16. We don't have stores like that here in the UK!
  17. Cheers Cliff.
  18. Thanks guys, super kit! If you build one stick the tyres on the wheel rims. I used super glue! The tyres tend to be a slight bit big and soft rubber so when attached to the chassis the tyres roll off the rims!
  19. Cheers George.
  20. Thanks guys, both the Manx builds shown are in clear metalic/metalflake moulded in manufacture. Paint used on the driver/passenger area only, with clear blue acrylic on the wipers and engine housing and clear orange on the front indicators.
