  1. Let's see some of your latest creations, then we can criticise your work as you targeted mine.
  2. Thanks PappyD340. But it's my last post on here. peteski has commented on an airplane WIP very offensively, telling me to get things right! I build the way I want to. I thought model making was our choice of what and how to build/scratchbuild after 60 years of building! Why should he dictate how we do things, only his way? Goodbye. I have sent a message to the moderators but because he's an American and I'm English things will go his way! We only have a couple of model websites in the UK, so I'll stick with those!
  3. Due to peteski nasty comments talking to me like a 5 year old after 60 years of modelling I'm off Goodbye
  4. Thanks 64Comet404 for your input. But due to peteski I'm done good bye!
  5. Thanks for the info. OR as you see things. After 60+ years of model making of all sorts including scratchbuilt projects, perhaps I should stear clear of you and your totally critical comments, and this website and by your tag you represent the Custom Plastic model club, I shall stear clear of that website as well. But there must be something that your not totally perfect at all through life! Your name should be TACTLESS! Further to your unwanted criticism (SO WHAT) modeling is supposed to be enjoyable but if you are there no one on here can get anything right signing off, GOODBYE!
  6. I wouldn't know. I Googled seaplane trollies and this was one of those images.
  7. Thanks Rusty. Well I have an image from the day and it looks to be a black painted structure but no idea of it's type, Alloy I think would have been rare but steel painted could have been a might heavy!
  8. Built for Yokosuka Willow, from evergreen stock..
  9. Great kit. I saw Kenny in the day with his mate and ours, Barry Sheene, who was with us on the airfield marshal duty at Silverstone. Racing then with the fast two-stroke machines was fantastic!
  10. Thanks PappyD340. Still trying with weathering, it seems to work so far.
  11. Thanks bisc63. It's difficult to measure how much weathering to put on. I see the landspeeder on line today as their transport more on land than in battle.. I think that's the one.
  12. Finished, I hope I haven't over done the weathering/battle damage!
  13. Revell Snow Speeder 1/52 : A bit of paint and decals.. using an article in a Damaged magazine on a build of the Bandai 1/48 version. A bit more reading the article and some more colour detailing if needed, tomorrow.
  14. I got fed up with BMF, so just use the edge of a Molotow Chrome Pen.
  15. Good to see a true British sports car on here. I'm looking forward to the build up.
  16. Where I display my models on plexi shelves I have to put sheets of A4 size printer paper or the tyres stick to both glass and plexi-glass, so to me plastic tyres help. They can be painted black or sand to look as if they have been on the road. One kit I bought contacted me to warn about melting as other customers had to claim new sets of tyres due to partially melting and sticking to all manner of surfaces.
  17. Having had enough of cars at present. I've done some painting today on: Revell Snowspeeder & Valom Yokosuka K5Y2 Willow, Floatplane. And waiting for decals to be delivered: Hobbycraft DHC-3 Otter Floatplane: Qantas & RCAF Rescue.
  18. Hi Chappy. Here's a shot of the rear end.. And a side shot..
  19. A friend here in the UK who lives nearby ran one as his daily driver for a few years. I look forward to seeing this one.
  20. WOW! Well done. I'd seen them race on numerous occasions.
