First side decaled.. -
I must admit that although Tuthill's is only 20 miles away I wasn't aware he was involved with that particular vehicle. But having been to the Williams F1 HQ in 2019 they have a Singer UK base there.

Cheers Larry. -
After waiting between 6-12 months on back order, an email has arrived, 'it's in the post'! When our youngest son was 21 we took his Beetle to a specialist 911 builder Frances Tuthill. He did suspension/paint etc to make it ready to show in the Cal-Look class. Two of these were in his workshop along with about twenty other 911's, 914's, and 365's all being restored. His son Richard still supplies classic 911's for racing and rallying.

Thanks Chris. -
There's a few places here in the UK where we can't dine out or buy takeout as we can't order without an I phone! And in our 70's neither of has the need or money for one!

Hi Jim we had two power outages a few weeks ago. When the power came back on the TV wouldn't do anything but put a message on the screen about updating the system, we've had the TV a few years, so can't find the original manual, when I phoned the supplier they said as the warranty had run out they couldn't speak to me! I called the SKY satellite company and the lady took two minutes to talk me through it although the TV or message was not her responsibility!

Here in the UK the price of fuel is steeply on the rise at the beginning of last week a litre of diesel was £1.58 per litre ( X four for a gallon) it is now £1.74 per litre. It used to fluctuate by a few pence but not at this rate! I don't know if it's the same in the US but we are in our 70's and don't live by a mobile phone, we went into our favourite coffee shop today and all most all of the seats/tables were taken, we found one and sat down in near silence as everyone else, couples and families were gawping at their phones! I wonder if they have minds of their own, a real conversation killer!

Well we have a few more photo's from today. There is a clear windscreen across the tops of the machine guns that was a loose fit so just a drop of cement holds it in place. With the pilot figure, the only part needing paint. Just the decals to come. I've taken the option to hang two standard bombs underneath rather than just on round bomb. Care needs to be taken with snapping together parts as sometimes the holes are not quite large enough to take the next component.

This is a snap kit already coloured, good for someone like me that is now at 74 next week struggling with painting. Instructions: Decals: Parts: Suitably ready coloured.. Cockpit already done: and four parts of the engine built.. There are various clear parts including a complete fuselage if needed to build showing the interior.

Thanks guys. Yes I like to think/see things differently or re-purposed I think it's called, for civilian use. -
Well in the post to me. I love TOONS! I know they are not everybody's cup of char/tea, but to a 74 year old (next week) they are fun and a shot in the arm!
