  1. So you have the Roller while I've ordered the Grader! Good fun eh?
  2. Thanks guys. Was the RC model a Tamiya?
  3. After a long wait I've just ordered this off ebay UK..
  4. Four resin bomber seats in 1/24 from a local supplier/maker. Already painted one seat grey and will try other colours.
  5. Nearly finished another Airfix 1/32nd Beach Buggy.. In shiny black! With Gold Rims and Chassis and grey tyres.
  6. Thanks Gareth.
  7. Thanks guys. I have another of the new batch under construction as we view.
  8. Thanks guys.
  9. The Mustang E is selling well here in the UK. It has just completed a Lands End to John-o-Groats efficiency run and broken a previous record set by a Tesla. A friend was telling me last week that the Ministry Of Transport here has put a stop to further development on Hydrogen cars as they can't work out the road tax cost for owning one yet, that's been on hold for nearly ten years! Gas conversions, not petrol to us but gas, are popular for those with big cars, Range Rover etc, as per litre that is still only 35pence. The tanks is a pressurised cylinder and normally in the boot/trunk space. The cars have to stay as fundamentally a petrol powered vehicle with the gas as a backup fuel source.
  10. Raised between body and chassis, body unpainted just clear gloss coated, added tyre decals, alloy exhausts and top and sidescreens that would hinge upwards.
  11. Thanks guys. That should say 20+ Years..
  12. Fantastic job your doing here!
  13. Superb! Having watched Volvo's in saloon car competition over 50 years I can appreciate this build!
  14. Thanks guys, it's all finished now.
  15. After hearing that Airfix were doing a re-issue I ordered this and having waited since January this year it arrived yesterday. With my latest regime of not painting the body will main the grey plastic and there will be a riser between the body and chassis to give more ground clearance. Oh and I've ordered another one!
  16. Thanks guys, these new NuNu/Beemax kits are very good!
  17. Superb! Just the genre of racing that I've followed for 50+ years, well done!
  18. Neat! We had 5 Beetles in our family around the same time our first was a 1965 1300cc in dark green, then an Orange one and the last a Light Blue one. Our youngest son had a Black 1600 lowered, and bumper less with a sport exhaust, he then had an American import Karmann 1956 cabriolet that came stripped with a huge box of bits, unfortunately he ran out of money and sold it! That's when he went rogue and bought a water cooled car!
  19. Thanks Rich I have left a coment on there that I recognise the two drivers on there having seen them numerous times a Silverstone over 20+ tears there..
  20. Superb Rich in my days (20+ years) at Silverstone I recognise the two drivers with the car above.
  21. Thanks guys. Rich, what upgrade kit was that please? All I had was the kit plus two sheets of decals.
  22. Nice kit everything fits together nicely. Very good decals, except No. 51 that was too wide for the back panel, so added a black composite panel and a smaller white logo from the other set of decals included in the kit. Although tyre logo's weren't of that era I had some in my decal box so added them anyway.
  23. Oh well I've used it now for 2 years, and to me it's perfect, BMF is too expensive for a pensioner like me to buy in such small sheets.
