two for my 73rd birthday a few days ago.. and although in 1/35th scale I'll build it as a surfboard transporter..

I'm into 'Surf Stuff' in a big way, so found your 'rebuild' brilliant! I don't know the kit as we in the UK never saw many 'original' custom kits here. I like the Canada flag /Maple Leaf logo one of your best parts of the build, well done!

Thanks guys. I've been looking at builds that not too complex, having waited for surgery since November last year. I've now had that procedure (removal of a Gall Bladder) last Thursday so out of hospital on the Friday. Although I'm not allowed to lift anything for four weeks I can still get out every day to walk/exercise and shop with my wife. Also I turned a young 73 yesterday (being Patrick and it being Saint Patricks day, born to an Irish mother). So I've started a Phantom Vicky build, that I hope will be on here next week some time.

WOW! Brilliant! I initially thought you were going to dio it on snow as I know you get a bit in BC! But the desert dio is crazy fantastic! Our eldest son is in Calgary so we get over there now and again!

I built the race version when it first came out by Tamiya. I was in fact at the press release at the Silverstone circuit, 'A Volvo Estate Car racing, impossible' was the press headline! I built this one a couple of years ago from a glue bomb I picked up off ebay UK..

Not doing anything detailed at present due to hospitalisation next week. Built box stock, as it has fittings for an electric motor, it hasn't got much interior detail, just a dash and steering wheel. Added a few decals as kit decals were poor.

Thanks guys, yes it's a basic model no steering etc and a lot of it clips together, but it's very good quality.

Just a quick build, wash, polish bodyshell, lay up decals,(pretty opaque/see through), and clear gloss coat.

Hi just catching up! Yes I have a few of the Lindberg kits as well. No didn't change many things including the stance, something I'm always worried about messing up!
