  1. Hi Bruce, super build, I've just come across one of these. My big bugbear is the black trim around windows, now as these fit from the outside we can't paint the body, and there are no window masks supplied how did you do it please?
  2. Destroyed in a accident. The body fell to the floor and split into numerous pieces. Purley due to the age of the kit, the body was very brittle!
  3. The K2 is having a wash! Due to the start of the build in the next few days.
  4. Well done Mike, I still have mine on the shelf. The decals will need a couple of coats of clear then.
  5. Well done Bob. C1 have some nice stuff.
  6. Just amazing!
  7. Thanks guys. Some ideas there to try out.
  8. Thanks Keith. Yes that's Tamiya clear red in the small glass bottles, added carefully with a brush.
  9. Superb! Another use of Nail Art well done!
  10. Thanks guys, I added my first palm tree decals to a beach buggy.
  11. Nail Art, finger nail decals. Used these before, all about 1/24 and 1/25 scale, each sheet between £1.35 and £1.75 on ebay UK post free. Must also be available on ebay.com USA. I have used the ice creams on Ice Cream Truck and Ice Cycle Trike.
  12. I've had problems in the past with BMF and now use a plumbers chrome tape, slightly thicker and more durable. It doesn't tend to tear.
  13. For 'different' decals. All about 1/24 to 1/25 scale. Average price £1.35 to £1.75 per sheet from ebay UK. I have used them on Ice Cream Truck and Cream Cycle Trike.
  14. I looked out a Fujimi Enthusiasts Porsche 911, part done, just the chassis about 10-15 years ago, found some 911 decals cut them to fit, added aero wheel discs, it has two seats with belts, so building a roll cage, might put some lamps on the front as a club type/style rally car.
  15. Yes a few at the annual meeting of the MK18 (our postcode) Buggy Club. Some are Airfix, resin, etc. And of course a few Manx's!
  16. I saw a 1/32 version of this on ebay here in the UK. The starting bid wanted was £110!
  17. SUPERB! I think I've made seven of these kits and one from a resin body from Jimmy Flintstone, so very well done.
  18. Thanks guys. Yes the fade by spray can spraying two colours at once, one enamel and the other acrylic, without any reaction between the two. And the forks I thought of shortening using alloy tube instead. I may well try it with a similar kit if I can find one at a reasonable price.
  19. They are in this Fujimi kit..
  20. Recently bought kit that has a number of decal options, I chose Cream Cycle. I used clear red for the engine detail and also on the wheels to give an anodised look. The steering works but carefully! The Ice Cream decals are nail art.
