  1. I'm down with this. Waiting for this to arrive from Amazon: http://round2corp.com/product/1975-datsun-scavenger-monster-pickup/ I can't guarantee steady updates, though.
  2. Social Distortion covered Under my Thumb Twice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcwsdglmlUY Japanese alt-idol group Deep Girl covers Paramore https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8s8qMFBLdY
  3. Impeccable work. It is coming along beautifully. I think the Upper cooling tin, over the cylinders, oil pump cover, and the drain plate should also be black. The Bosch distributor cap is a perfect colour, did you mix the paint?
  4. I remember the toys, but no model kits. The dune buggy would be cool to have.
  5. Those are some awesome finds, older than me! I wouldn't build that bus, it's an antique and has been re-issued enough, and the new RoG tooling or Hasegawa kits are superior. That Entex Wanekel, though...
  6. I was expecting the other "Z", but I like Camaros, too.
  7. I got the torso articulation sorted, and am about to seal it up.
  8. Definitely interested in the RX-7. How is the engine in those kits?
  9. Looks like Main Force Patrol colors...
  10. You are a master graftsman!
  11. I got the hip and shoulder joints on the Gundam figured out. Should post some pics soon.
  12. It's too late for this one, but when there are decals, or photoetch for embelms, I sand them down till you can just barely see where to put them later. Aoishima acquired a lot of molds from defunct companies, those and the older kits are a mixed bag. The new stuff is top-notch.
  13. Very good job! My only suggestions would be to go back and paint the 1/4 panel emblems, and front marker lamps, and the center caps on the wheels. Also you should get a bottle of Tamiya clear orange for the the rear turn signals. Fronts are often amber, but rear is always orange.
  14. Here's what I'm starting with, the box, parts already cleaned in Simple Green, sub-assemblies I'm gonna put in Simple Green, and what's left on the sprues. This is an older kit, and doesn't use poly cap bushings.
  15. Got these at a thrift store/boutique, all still sealed, roof on one of the blazers was crushed. They'e jammed in there tighter than that old jar of pickles game. Do you think $5 each was a good deal?
  16. I'm more of a poorskate. The most I've ever paid for a kit was $50-ish off eBay for something super rare, and vintage. The burn was the seller had something else from the same series I also wanted badly, but could afford only one.
  17. I shoulda took some pics, but I started on a vintage gluebomb. Well, a paint bomb. Its a vintage Gundam Kit from 1983. I got it at a thrift store a year or so ago. Someone painted most of the parts on the sprue with no apparent rhyme or reason. as far as I can tell, it's only missing a hose and the decals are probably shot. Oh, and there's no instructions, just to make it interesting.
  18. While I was at it, I secured another Trans-Am and built a second Racing Warrior. I took more liberties with this one. I swapped teh nose with a 69 Camaro and lifted it. The front end of the yellow car took forever, so I just made the front of this car built on the bumper. This was an eBay glue bomb, so its a total junkyard build.
  19. Here's the Death Race style Pantera. I reworked one of my old glue bombs. I originally built this Gunze Sangyo kit back in 1989. It was a bad day for pictures. These are kinda blurred, but you should see what I deleted.
  20. Awesome work! I would also welcome G1 Transformers kits. Does Takara still make models? I know they sure wouldn't sub-license it to Bandai...
  21. The Aoshima kit has wonky proportions, and is a re-issue of an old Araii or Imai kit, I think. (both companies are OOB and their molds sold off. I know Bandai got most of their sci-fi kits.) There is a detailed Revell (Monogram re-issue already on this board) As well as a YouTube review :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSjQsehhyTo
  22. They selected 3 cars to run in the 24 Hours of LeMons. A Crown Vic, Golf, and a 720 Nissan. The 720 looked pretty nice, but the dropped it on the Golf. I was relieved when the 240Z survived the Car for Life episode with only minor damage.
  23. I'd be down, I still have a bunch of mechs and starships. Got a couple of cars I'm in the middle of, though...

    VW 411

Excellent job! The 411, and 412 were sold in the US, but they're nearly extinct. Haven't seen one in person in about 10 years.
