  4. Worst wurst I ever encountered was some "texturized soy" mess that tasted like salty cardboard with the consistency of oatmeal packed in a long thin balloon.

  9. Some time back I started thinking about doing a series of the McLaren sports-racing cars that are available in styrene or as slot car bodies. Bruce McLaren was another one of my "heroes" when I was a young man, and I've worked on a few of the cars over the years. Though Bruce had already been tragically killed, I was fortunate to meet both Denny Hulme and Peter Revson during the CanAm glory days. Couple things I got for Christmas from somebody who, remarkably, actually knows something about my interests, listens, and put some effort into getting me something I'd really like.. A reference book I've wanted for a while but never tried to track down: A complete unmolested 1/25 AMT McLaren Elva (the M1-A): And a couple of 1/24 Tamiya slot-body versions of the same basic car:

  19. Nice. What scale? Did the M5 nose turret on the Huey come with the kit, or did you scratch it?
  20. Name calling ensues when one side of an issue has no logical argument, and not much intellect.
  21. 2023 economic and social conditions will likely be better, or worse, than 2022, or possibly stay the same...according to highly paid experts.
