  1. I will add that happy circumstance to the list of things I'm thankful for daily.
  2. "Find the most recent post in this thread" is a very simple part of playing this game, yet it's oddly ignored frequently; missing a previous post an hour old fails to impress.
  3. Internet advice, however, is often not worth the electrons it takes to display it, many times being incorrect gibberish mindlessly rebleated by someone adept at cut-and-paste, or by someone who "heard" it from their dog's groomer's boyfriend's mother's hairdresser's pool guy, and thereby became an instant expert...but who lacks any first-hand experience or expertise.
  4. "Composed" isn't exactly how I feel after listening to (deleted for political references).
  5. All good points above. BUT, one of the best "tricks" you can master as far as sanding and polishing goes is to learn how to shoot your paint slick enough so extensive post-work just isn't required. This is Duplicolor rattlecan mica color, with the old Testors lacquer clear topcoat, just exactly as-sprayed with zero sanding or polishing. Obviously, it's not going to take a helluva lot of work to get it the rest of the way.
  6. Allure often vaporizes when one opens her mouth and says something moronic in a squeaky voice.
  7. Trying to adapt fenders made for some Asian car to a Studebaker? You might as well make your own. But if you insist, there's a lot of stuff like this out there... https://www.ebay.com/itm/385031895093?hash=item59a5b07835:g:CYAAAOSwBOZi7Pcc&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoHLcSOAydMWlDUbAJeCsyCrqg%2FuDPvAlXB1o99L5ddeUDbuYlGxqMtvrb9kaJCMKWDm0Hf%2FRw6bqviZ3JQywhqt8BAFNDX1fxfPEwqvdRrqPArTFEaV3FNhTBQCa4wHfyVzNJKAkEX6sH1Agk%2BspAwJF00YNEzjg7qAxSG6wQ1kZ99A4wI2K78VYeGnIo6tQJnUxbEJT1VygvZm6GMikFks%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR_abhNriYA https://www.ebay.com/itm/394118519123?hash=item5bc34b5953:g:AxgAAOSwPBpiq07a&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoMicN3OPOEoB0gHNjFip%2BGUW6nk5Sal6EcDUPhi2lxE%2Fr9FeY1OxxQ8RFZqyBX8rGzr5lji8Cr9LCHGNgzg1PeAtN%2F8mTlSoFv9yBXwCD41h6howWze7H1GVooG4RdrsFSkjjRo%2FVDYuGzBYzpqWPVkc3V%2FIiWpQqt6bBNKd298tg527Dc1qN%2FRXSjdfsmrm8p8Yp2PeJr%2Bgqc4WEGZMSQA%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR_qbhNriYA
  8. Figure-skating women and professional dancers always have the best legs, in my experience, anyway.
  9. Affliction or addiction, cars big and little get in your blood.
  10. People also use solder, or heavy gauge copper wire, but the diameter of those is usually too small for 1/25-1/24.
  11. Are you trying to use styrene tube? You'll have much better luck with rod.
  12. Roads can lead to interesting new places, especially if you choose the ones less traveled.
  13. You can always make your own...
  14. It's been said that people will race anything...
  15. Roads through the middle of nowhere are often my preferred travel routes.
  16. Trail your fingers in the water in the Everglades, and you just might lose a hand to an alligator.
  17. When you buy the kit, do you get access to a downloadable recording of the fake noises it makes? Maybe a ringtone?
  18. Exceptionally fine work, as always.
  19. I always had a thing for tri-5 Fords, and two-tones especially. This one is exceptional.
  20. Effects described by Dunning and Kruger have been endlessly argued, disavowed loudly by many of those who are representative of same, and have been twisted out of all recognition by "studies" attempting to reinforce negative perceptions of the hesitancy by skeptical segments of the populace to embrace questionable "science".
  21. Achieve your fondest dreams by setting goals, and keeping your eyes on the prize.
  22. I just ordered one of each, along with some other cool stuff before it's gone. Man, talk about a kid in a candy store...
  23. "Polite society" was kinda what set the standards of decorum before we had "political correctness".
