  1. Grat job! Too young to remember the TV show, but I sure do remember that truck! What I wouldn't give to have the the 1:1.....
  2. For my first entry, I'm going to use a Jimmy Flintstone Chopped Model A body on the Revell '31 Ford Sedan chassis. I'll be addding parts from my pasts box along the way. The engine will be a flathead parts bash. Not sure yet about the final color, flat red maybe......
  3. Cool build - I really like the progress. Can't wait to see it finished.
  4. That turned out great! Nice color choice on the interior
  5. Wow - that looks great!
  6. As promised, here are a few more, slightly better quality pictures of the Woody

Awesome work! Those decals must have been a challenge
  8. Beautiful build! The colors work great together. Well done
  9. I like it. I was planning a similar kit bash build like this. Well done-you would never know that the parts weren't from the same kit.
  10. Nice work! Couldn't tell that boon was scratch built-awesome
  11. Good look'n Nomad!
  12. Love it!
  13. I like it. The '48 Ford never looked so good
  14. Cool little diorama you have going on there!
  15. thanks for the feedback. The kit is the Revell Good Guys issue.
  16. Looks good. The problem I found with using REAL wood on scalled projects is that the grain pattern is usually not to scale with the rest of the build. Whatever you're using here seems to work well. Not sure about what you intend to do for the finish on the wood panels, but Tamiya clear yellow would good. It will give a "honey" type varnish effect, of which would be a nice contrast to the dark/redwood color of the wood frame. Just my $0.02. Keep up the good work!
  17. What an ambitious build. Love the progress so far. Keep up the good work!
  18. lol - these cars weren't known for their build quality. My parents owned an '81 when I was a kid. They sold it after 18 months becasue it spent allmost as much time on the hoist as it did on the road. I think it was only 2 or 3 years old when they sold it. All the same, I've always loved the classy body lines of the GM G-body.
  19. I bought a decal sheet of different pinstripe designs off of eBay a while back. Don't recall who made them, but they are surprisingly great quality. They seem to be finding their way into my Hot Rod builds lately.....
  20. Yup - I bought a roll of gold tape a while back that had different sizes of stripes. Just cut to length, and trimmed it on the body. I think its made by Testors???? I used the same roll to make the racing stipe on my '55 Gasser.
  21. Testors One Coat Lacquer - straight fromthe can. Don't remember what the white pearl color was called, but I did use Inca Gold as a base coat for Root Beer color.
  22. I like where this is heading!
