  1. Ok. I have a body I bought several years ago. I have it sitting on a polar lights chassis and tins. Issue is. Engine and interior tins is to far back from the windshield. If I move the engine and that section of the tin. I have an issue where the tin no sits down on the seat bucket .if that makes sense. So should I leave engine where it's at...and just extend / custom make an interior tin piece where it seals to the base of the windshield? This is slated to be Nelson Carters Imperial Custom car ..the bright green version
  2. Thanks. I've been here almost 6 years. And found no issues with any kit stored there. Knocks on wood Summers here are quite warm But fortunately the house/ garage faces east. So it doesn't get the full blast when the sun is hottest. At least That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it Again....knocks on wood

  6. Had the box down this was in so, Threw some paint on it to see how it looked. Its an original Barry Setzer MPC vega AA/FC kit ( not a big fan of the Revell version ) Paint is Tamiya TS20 metallic green over a Tamiya silver leaf base color to seal the molded in red body color And I LIKE IT Anyone dare a guess as to which car Im thinking ?
  7. Been trying to get my garaged better organized.I bought an upright storage cabinets for various household stuff. Car parts . Tools etc etc So decided while I was there. Pulled a bunch of kits out to thin the stash down. As i truely dont see myself building them all. And organized the ones that will stay. At 65....I better get busy building. My taste gravitates to vintage drag cars. And Mopar factory stock stuff. Various kits of all makes and models. Ranging from early 30s to early 70s ...mostly old drag car kits White boxed kits are all old annuals ranging from 1958 thru about 1965. I've really thinned the pile way down from what it was 5 or 6 years ago. To maybe a 3rd of what I used to have.

  15. Best part , is there isnt a man or women alive thats a die hard gear head that isnt familiar with that car . Regardless of said persons brand loyalty. But oh what a view to behold. So in reality, just about ANY version of the car is ok with me, Except an EV version

  20. Myself it all depends on the type of paint Im using. If its straight old fashion Model enamels. I'll clean and spray right on bare plastic. Pretty much anything else. Primer first , Typically I use Duplicolor primer sprayed right out of the rattle can To be honest, I use a lot of Duplicolor rattle can paints as well , I dont own an airbrush
  21. They made the pieces for me to convert a 67 GTX to a 1966 Satellite. Not the fastest Ive ever dealt with. But the parts look very very nice
  22. I bought a resin conversion to convert an AMT 70 to a 71 several years ago. To be 100% honest, Im not sure who I got it from though. Thats been a while The pieces came so warped and so thin.
