  3. Still trying to determine the cars engine color. But....got all the decals on yesterday. Cleared it today. So...I will soon be at the point to just leave it turquoise and move on.
  4. Ok. Thanks I think I'll stick with urethane
  5. Trailer is an old amt / Ertle blueprinter piece I think.? I may have another trailer if you want it. Ramp bed I bought off ebay several years back...that I think is scratch built

  10. unknown, It was an ebay purchase several years ago . I think its scratchbuilt All I need is the cab and related bits https://www.ebay.com/itm/375869203372
  11. welcome along for the ride. I retired last year , And have dove right back in the model building again and really enjoying it I can sit ( and usually do ) sit at the work bench for hours on end

  13. I need to find a proper cab / chassis to put this altogether
  14. Will be a very simple no pains ( hopefully ) 100% out of the box build
  15. Thanks, I found that same exact diecast listing
  16. Im aware of the SS/A hemi cars. I already have that one built Im working on the less known SS/EA 440 auto car . Bob Lambeck was primary driver
  17. Anyone know for sure engine color on this particular car. Instructions says Chrysler red( orange ) A 1968 440 or 383 GTS Darts engine would be turquoise in color
  18. Nope. Making my own Its a Kit I body I cut the roof off of. Used the MPC 1968 Body as a guide . Molded sunvisors are from Revell Dart kit. 1968 kit on right my 1970 on left Got the resin RT stuff from harts parts ....I think. It's been a while so not 100% sure
  19. A good friend of mine owns an original LO23 car campaigned out of Sabina OH back in the day The Kessler Brothers car But it would require far more paint skills than Im capable of or a one off set of custom decals be made
  20. Here is a video of the actual car. Probably one of my top ten favorite drag cars from the period These LO23 cars made GREAT race cars. I have a few more decals / kits to build Next up is the Dick Landy SS/EA car ,,,OR I might move on to the Demented dart . Or the Charle Allen SS/EA car ???? decisions decisions
  21. I cant answer that, Ive had these dist kits for quite a while . still have maybe 3 or 4 left
  22. Thanks, But Im a long ways off
  23. I'm going no top Going to be this car. Havent decided 100% on tires and wheels just yet
  24. A slight snafu ( dropped it this morning ) I think I better call this one done and walk away . Basically box stock with exception to the MAD pre wired dist and Slixx decals Paint is Tamiya Metallic blue with duplicolor semi gloss black interior, Engine is a True Value rattlecan Pumpkin orange to give the looks of Race Hemi Orange My decals ae getting old and they had some cracking issues So its not flawless . BUT, I can live with it Imo. These cars make GREAT looking race cars
