  1. Exhaust was a SS class rule. Not required on the AFX class cars ,,,also,,,keep in mind the AFX class cars were relegated to match race cars pretty quickly after introduction
  2. Im pretty sure they had carpeting , But no jute backing on it. As far as the Mule having red interior ,,,I'm not sure. But Ive heard that before But in this pic , it sure looks like red to me Found it here https://www.facebook.com/groups/462920647242203/
  3. Just about any complete kit I send out cost me about $11 or $12 , just sent 2 kits in one box from AZ to NC , cost me $20 even priorty
  4. If you have the measurements on the revell hood. I have a johan hood I can measure I sold my revell kit a few years ago
  5. I know for a fact the grills dont interchange, so its not likely the hood will either the Revell grille was a good bit larger than the Johan
  6. Well... If you happen to decide its not for you. Pm me.....one of those is on my want list I have 62 and 64 dodge conv. Plus 2 of the 63 hardtops . As well as 64 Plymouth....still need a clean 63 Fury convertible as well
  7. Just picked up a couple AFX 1965 Golden Comandos Plymouth's from member mredjr,,,,,,aka Elvin, Many many thanks brother
  8. Ive bought a few kits to use strickly for parts. I have about a dozen of the lindberg color me gone dodges bought strictly for parts
  9. Interesting. I get no adds, except every great once in a while. None for the past few weeks I can think of . On my laptop or phone. And I dont have an add blocker on either one that Im aware of Im a member on a 1/1 Mopar board and the info links adds there are way, WAY WAY out of control. Especially on my phone
  10. being one who has a bunch of these old annuals. I usually need something for one or the other Im not a fan of resin per say, so I usually try to find original kit pieces if I can With modelhaus gone, guys like myself have no other choice really I have a few sellers on my favorites page. Vintagemodelparts is NOT one of them. Wouldnt buy from him ever again, i dont care what he has I need . But thats a whole nutter story
  11. I dont . newest Poncho vert builder I have is a 1962
  12. Looks cool. Just my 2cents. But I would trim those boots where the plug wires at the dist cap down,,,way down
  13. The 63 Fords are everywhere . so figure maybe $30 for the hardtop,,,if your lucky less for the vert with the broken windsheid frame the 62 Dodge if it has the uptop ,,,can be a good one mainly for the top. the car by itself is maybe $20-25. the top is worth easily $10-15 by itself edit, corrected comment on years of the Fords
  14. The 68 charger and 65 falcon are probably the best of the bunch. At least based on what i can see. Falcon somewhere in the $60 range Charger can pull $75 range pretty easily. Just as an example. I just bought a 63 Mercury hardtop. Maybe 4 months ago. Never painted $60 delivered .
  15. I know for a fact the 396 was in the 1969 pace cars. Back about 1979 , or maybe early 1980 . there was one parked by an old appt bldg in the small town my parents lived ( Walton Ky ) behind that bldg was this white 1969 camaro conv with this god awful ugly orange interior. And on the front fenders it had 396 badges. Being the gear head that I am ,,,,I just had to pop the hood to ck , . Sure enough it was in there . I treid for months to find out who owned it, finally gave up, the car disappeared sometime a few months later. No idea what happened to it
  16. WOW, I could maybe use a few of those
  17. I have a couple builtups of this one...but no unbuilts
  18. Isnt the hubley kit a multi-piece body ? or am I thinking of something else. There was a time when I was actually looking for one of them. NOW.,,,,,, Not so much. Ive come to realize I have more then enough to keep me busy for years to come
  19. I know Mopar / Johan was still using accetate for the 1963 promos. Not sure if Ford was or not
  20. Agreed. 1000% For me....price is irrelevant. As an example....I paid over $100 for a mint in box 1959 Edsel kit. Then built it. Tamiya...makes nothing that interests me. And doubt they ever will.
  21. No pictures ( I was driving) But saw a really nice little 1965 or 66 mustang convertible. Older couple oit for a cruise with the top down. Sounded like a 6 cyl when it went by
  22. For me personally, I think it has the be the revell Thunderbolt kits. No fuss or drama involved from start to finish.
  23. FM3 Panther Pink is not a very common color found on ANY B body mopar. extremely rare on a 1970 Coronet. I personally have only seen one or two.
  24. Interesting. I've no idea what that is. The oil pump is mounted below that area. Wonder if it's some kind of adapter
