  1. water pump style is different, as well as intake , exhaust manifolds and valve covers. Again just depends on how accurate Steve intends to get
  2. keep on mind the underbody from a 71 Duster has some differences than a 1966 Bcuda. Primarily front suspension differences and Im pretty sure the 66 was never avail with dual exhaust Same goes for the 70-71 small block compared to the 66 small block as well .
  3. Correct, and as far as I know the car has been repaired
  4. I wish you could some resin caster to copy these. I would take 2 sets pronto
  5. Nice project so far. When I did my 68 Dart. I drilled holes in the body where the side markers are supposed to be . Inserted a small diam aluminum tube. . Once the body was painted , I polished the edges of the tube that was visible and filled the center with epoxy and topped it off with the Testors clear amber paint
  6. Yes please. I have maybe 1 of the Ford trucks. The 72 version with no plans to buy any of the others Odds are will not be buying a GM truck IF they make one. But will buy SEVERAL if they make a late 60s to very early 70s Dodge truck kits
  7. Nope, But I have to admit worth every penny. I bought 3 of them earlier this spring . Plan to buy at least 2 ,,,maybe 3 more. The ones I bought had no panels to make individual spaces on each shelf
  8. Not in 1970. Actually there was no 1970 Coronet promo of any kind. MPC 2 door hardtop kit only
  9. Both the 68 and 69 MPC Coronet kits back then were hardtop and convertible versions. Both had the exact same conv interior tub. The original 1970 Coronet also had a convertible interior tub, even though there was no conv version of the kit made back then
  10. No, All the original interior tubs were convertible only
  11. Be very careful in making the upper ridge section. In the 1/1 panel this pattern is VERY light in person
  12. Now you REALLY have my attention. I have a really nice builtup. But Im afraid mine will NOT be built OE stock
  13. Ive been told owner is wanting something like over 500 k for it. if thats in fact the case ???? IMO those days are over and it might sell someday but for nothing near the $500 k money . IMO he should give serious thought so the 325 k if its real money
  14. And gives me a serious cool idea what to do with this
  15. Most will agree with you. Im sure Round2 looked at costs versus gains to spend a little bit to rectify an old kit versus all new. Im confident this kit will do very well for them just like it is. Would it have done better if it were all new / more accurate? probably . But at a much higher tooling costs for the manufacturer / and the end buyer ( aka US ) I might / maybe / maybe not buy one or two of them . But odds are no more than if it were all new if I do buy. I don't do contests and I don't display my builds chassis side up so the chassis detail is moot point ,,,at least for me
  16. I have this one. Yours if u need it Just need address.
  17. Doubt that. That kit has been avail since , what the 80s time frame and nothing has been done to it. IMO nothing ever will. Ive seen the MCW resin grille and tail lights in person used to convert it to a 66. they are not that good < IMO only Ive always wondered why no one ( kit manufacturer or some skilled aftermkt supplier ) has never tooled up to convert the 67 GTX to a 1966 Belvedere / Satellite . Its beyond my skill level or I would attempt it .
  18. Dude, I think you've outdone your self with this one. And thats no easy task
  19. Prices for the various Danbury or Franklin Mint stuff has been all over the price map. I've seen the exact same car bring stupid cheap to stupid expensive. Its ALL about timing I guess
  20. I built one a few years ago. Makes for a really nice looker on the shelf
  21. Every model i see that has no mirrors. I instantly think of him I miss him.
  22. I remember a while back the asking price was for the business and property . And I remember it was well over 1mil. And unless he is sitting on some seriously valuable property Serious doubts thats ever gonna happen. I honestly think the best way to off it is piece by piece.
  23. The one I built replicated a very good friends car. and it sits quietly in his case now. He has owned the 1/1 since maybe late 70s or very early 80s time frame . Car has been painted YEARS ago. But still retains the original interior and the power train has never been out of the car . I have both the 55 and 56 to build for myself,,,,someday here soon I hope
  24. Really nice. I built the 55 a few years ago to give to a good friend who owns a 1/1 car. They build up VERY nice
  25. original 1969 issue Nascar Daytona headers. Also,,,,, I came across this . The restoration of the original #88 Dodge Daytona of Charlie Glotzbach https://www.bigirongarage.com/1969-dodge-charger-daytona-dc-93
