water pump style is different, as well as intake , exhaust manifolds and valve covers. Again just depends on how accurate Steve intends to get

keep on mind the underbody from a 71 Duster has some differences than a 1966 Bcuda. Primarily front suspension differences and Im pretty sure the 66 was never avail with dual exhaust Same goes for the 70-71 small block compared to the 66 small block as well .

Jay Leno and the Hemi Under Glass

Correct, and as far as I know the car has been repaired -
Nice project so far. When I did my 68 Dart. I drilled holes in the body where the side markers are supposed to be . Inserted a small diam aluminum tube. . Once the body was painted , I polished the edges of the tube that was visible and filled the center with epoxy and topped it off with the Testors clear amber paint

Nope, But I have to admit worth every penny. I bought 3 of them earlier this spring . Plan to buy at least 2 ,,,maybe 3 more. The ones I bought had no panels to make individual spaces on each shelf

Not in 1970. Actually there was no 1970 Coronet promo of any kind. MPC 2 door hardtop kit only
-
Both the 68 and 69 MPC Coronet kits back then were hardtop and convertible versions. Both had the exact same conv interior tub. The original 1970 Coronet also had a convertible interior tub, even though there was no conv version of the kit made back then
-
No, All the original interior tubs were convertible only

Be very careful in making the upper ridge section. In the 1/1 panel this pattern is VERY light in person

Now you REALLY have my attention. I have a really nice builtup. But Im afraid mine will NOT be built OE stock
-
Most will agree with you. Im sure Round2 looked at costs versus gains to spend a little bit to rectify an old kit versus all new. Im confident this kit will do very well for them just like it is. Would it have done better if it were all new / more accurate? probably . But at a much higher tooling costs for the manufacturer / and the end buyer ( aka US ) I might / maybe / maybe not buy one or two of them . But odds are no more than if it were all new if I do buy. I don't do contests and I don't display my builds chassis side up so the chassis detail is moot point ,,,at least for me

What kits had this air cleaner ??

Doubt that. That kit has been avail since , what the 80s time frame and nothing has been done to it. IMO nothing ever will. Ive seen the MCW resin grille and tail lights in person used to convert it to a 66. they are not that good < IMO only Ive always wondered why no one ( kit manufacturer or some skilled aftermkt supplier ) has never tooled up to convert the 67 GTX to a 1966 Belvedere / Satellite . Its beyond my skill level or I would attempt it .

Dude, I think you've outdone your self with this one. And thats no easy task

Prices for the various Danbury or Franklin Mint stuff has been all over the price map. I've seen the exact same car bring stupid cheap to stupid expensive. Its ALL about timing I guess

The one I built replicated a very good friends car. and it sits quietly in his case now. He has owned the 1/1 since maybe late 70s or very early 80s time frame . Car has been painted YEARS ago. But still retains the original interior and the power train has never been out of the car . I have both the 55 and 56 to build for myself,,,,someday here soon I hope
-
Really nice. I built the 55 a few years ago to give to a good friend who owns a 1/1 car. They build up VERY nice
