  1. Looks awesome. Just the badge on the hood is upside down. Color is spot on!!
  2. That is nothing short of a work of art. Belongs in a museum.
  3. WOW!! The wheels and the resto mod thing is not what floats my boat, but man, quality is all over the car. Spectacular work!!
  4. Real fine build!! Super clean, and with great color choice. Never the less it has the very same "problem" the '53 Ford kits from Lindberg, and now AMT have, the side trim is all molded separate, and that gives the finished product kind of a toy-ish look. That didn't stop me of building multiples of the '53 Ford kit .
  5. Very cool baratão!!! Baratão means big roach, as it was the car's nickname around here.
  6. WOW!! The color is gorgeous!!
  7. That thing looks mean. Love it!!!
  8. Very nice. Is the hood bent?
  9. This one looks amazing!! Your Corvettes look great too, but those cars have no appeal to me (not only Corvettes, I'm not into sports cars in general). By other hand, a '51 bel Air does!!!
  10. Great color combo, and great stance. The rat motor also looks great.
  11. That's a car that deserved to be saved!! And what a save it is!!
  12. I like it a lot. Used but not abused.
  13. That's a beautiful job!!! The color is perfect.
  14. Lovefordgalaxie.
  15. I love this channel. I always laugh out loud when I watch the videos.
  16. Thanks Carl!! Sorry for the delay, I've lost my own thread...
  17. I always use wax. First I do wet sand and polish the paint up to the shine level I want it to be, and after I have all the gloss I can get, and no more any evidence of the polishing compound, I gave the entire body a coat of Meguiar's Tech Wax 2.0. It makes much easier to remove all the fingerprints from the model once it's all assembled. Since I use almost 100% automotive paints, the wax won't hurt the paint a bit.
  18. Great job!! You can never go wrong with black!! The restoration job is very impressive.
  19. Most excellent job!!!
  20. Some classy builds there!!!
  21. The final result is awesome!!!
  22. Nice builds!! The '36 and the '57 scrub-o-let killer are just great.
  23. The dash has no positive location marking on the interior tub, and where one thinks it's the right spot, usually is too high. That causes all the problems. What I do is first install the glass to the body, then glue the dash to the body, making sure the doors can open and close, and just then I place the interior tube on the body. The only hard part is having the steering column in a good position before installing the interior or it will interfere with the fit. Learned this trick with the AMT '57 Ford kit.
  24. Great build!!
