    Thanks Aron. It's a paperclip wrapped with wire painted flat black. Looks fairly realistic to my eye.

    Sam that six is from the Monogram 53 Bel-Air if you're interested. Considering it's a 1/24 scale engine I decided to call it a 292. The bed is scratch built.

    I don't have the kit yet, but I'm thinking a 50 F-1 converted to RHD and pretty similar to this.

    Thanks Tom and Dave. That's pretty dumb about the "green" cars Dave. If that would happen here I'd start delivering pizza and buy something like a Prius just to lift it and put the biggest coal rolling diesel I could find in it just to tick them off.

    Oh I just meant the little 440 decal on the deck lid. It's off the Monogram 70 Roadrunner. Hence the "440 out of dad's totaled Roadrunner"

    Yeah. I thought it was strange too. Dad has actually added leaf spring to his in the rear. And it still sits really low. I used to argue with people at school about it because they would tell me it wasn't 4WD. I'd look at them and say "It has 6 lugs and a 4WD shifter inside. What the heck else does it need to be 4WD?"

    Chris, dad's actual truck is 4WD. I didn't change the ride height because the 1988 model year (according to my dad anyways) had a really low ride height. Thanks!

    Thanks Peter and Stephen. The two tone would have been better if it wasn't crooked. I need to get some outdoor pictures of this, but the weather here bites right now. I forget what sun looks like.

    Actually John, It's just the 383 included with the kit. I called it a 440 because I had the decals and they look identical externally.
