  2. I love it! I would love to be able to build a car like this in 1:1! Great job!
  3. Of the 3 years that I have participated in this CBP (this is the 1st year I actually finished) , this is by far the best field of racers we have had. I personally had a very hard time voting for just 1 build, because there were so many great builds. I want to offer my congratulations in advance to whoever the winner may be. I knew that I didn't hardly stand a chance once I saw all of the great WIPs being posted. I think I finished mine within a month, and it looks like dog poo. Other builders here started theirs with less than a month remaining and created astounding results. Even if I had spent the whole year working on my Cougar it wouldn't even begin to stack up to the competition. I want to offer my kudos to everybody who participated this year. I can't wait for next years run to start, and look forward to "racing" you all again.
  4. Every girl's crazy `bout a sharp dressed Ford...Great job
  5. Very cool!
  6. Thanks guys. I hadn't realized it had been more than a year since I've updated this topic. I'll upload some more current pictures here soon. Lance, the idea of the air line around the walls is something I do intend to do, but i just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll see what i can find as far as a larger compressor goes. I also like your suggestion of the fake doors. In the mean time for some more up-to-date pictures, some of the new details can be seen in the background here.
  7. I was brought home in what is now my 90 Chevy Astro. When my mom told me I came home from the hospital as a newborn in it I couldn't let it be scrapped when it blew a head gasket. Then I had the option between rebuilding the body on it or mom's 01 century for my first car.Needless to say, the Astro won. It was the only vehicle I really ever rode in for the first 12 years of my life.
  8. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
  9. Awesome! Especially the autographs!
  10. Here's my contribution. 1992 Mercury Cougar Base kit: Revell Wheels and tires: 55 Ford F-100 (Monogram) Scratch built roll cage Paint: Blushed Dupli-Color Gloss Black for the body, Maroon for the interior, Gunmetal on the hood, and cheapo primer on the front bumper. Theme: Built out of an LKQ yard
  11. I like it! Maybe NASCAR would actually still be a sport, not the game of whoever is paying the officials more to win that they give us today.
  12. nice!
  13. I like this idea followed by Muscle Madness followed by The 1960's followed by box stock. I think an Off road Cannonball would be awesome. I have a few ideas spinning for this already...
  14. I wish that the builds of mine that I didn't like looked that good. Greta job!
  15. I'm in absolute awe. That is absolutely awesome. Not a single detail was missed. What did you use to make the diorama?
  16. Wow. I love everything about it! Great job!
  17. Heck, I'll let them come and measure mine! The only differences between 77 and 78 were the emblems on the headlight doors and the introduction of the Diamond Jubilee package in 78. They could about do a 2-in-1 kt of the 77 and 78 by just doing the headlight door emblems as decals. I would hope that they wouldn't do a 79 just to mess with us both.
  18. Nah. We need a 78 Thunderbird. There are no real differences except for some emblems and trim packages, but the 78s are better because i have one. lol
  19. Thanks Justin
  20. Thanks Danno
  21. Thanks Danno and Charlie.
