Thanks guys! The plan for a setting is either a carport or sitting out in a field surrounded with some random junk. I've not decided on that yet

I started with the AMT Beverly Hills Cop kit. First time ever using a weathering paint system. The rust was created with Vallejo model air weathering something or other that my brother got me for Christmas last year or the year prior. The base colors are Createx air. I'm really happy with how the body turned out, I plan to further the weathering on the undercarriage and underhood. I plan to build some sort of diorama for this car at some point soon. The windows crazed after the glue had set. I kinda liked the look- reminded me of some cars I've seen out at the local junkyard. Thanks for looking. Any questions or critiques are welcomed.

Here are a few (mostly) finished pics of the 330. There are still a few more changes I'm working on that will be made shortly. My only real dislike with this car is the hood fitment. It lined up perfectly in the primer stage. Well it doesn't now. One of the changes will be the aluminum cover thing in front of the intake. I couldn't find the original piece to modify until last night. The paint is Duplicolor Mirage Tri-Coat. It really pops in sunlight and the color change is awesome. Any questions and critiques welcomed!

First of all thanks Mike! Unfortunately those slicks are all that I have that fit those wheels and backs. I know that they aren't technically road legal but i'm gonna call them DOT approved Cheater slicks. They are it's highway tires. lol. However, I do have a file of rain tires that I can 3d print to have with the car on a support truck or something. I've got a few ideas for a truck for support. Thinking a 99 F-150 with a modded 4.6 or a 99 Silverado with a little pep on the 5.3. The support truck probably won't be an actual entry, just used for support for this year and years to follow. Whether or not it gets finished is anybody's guess lol.

Man that's stunning! If it was white and had T-tops I'd swear it was my mom's car. Absolutely gorgeous!

I've been quiet but my V-10 Dodge 330 is practically finished. Still a few more things to install and I'm calling it done. I don't have many progress pics and none tonight due to them being on my phone. I would've posted them earlier but the photobucket fiasco screwed with me.

hmm... we've had some excellent themes in recent years so it makes it kinda hard to come up with any... if i had to dream up 2.. 1. Vannonball! All van entries. Anything from a 25 Model T panel to a late model Ford transit. Any mods as long as the final product is a van. Off-road, race, etc. Basically unlimited as long as it's a van. (I'm a little biased to vans, as my profile pic may show) 2. Econo- boxball! Everything is a crappy little grocery getter with no performance upgrades whatsoever. Pacers, Gremlins, Valiants, Accords, Civics, basically anything lame and lackluster as heck.

Count me in! With what I do not yet know. I need something simple to get me back in the building rhythm. I'll have to look and see what I have that would be fairly simple. This would probably give me a valid excuse to play with my airbrush too.... hmmm....

Love it! Looks just like every retired real one I see occasionally roaming around. There's a guy in the town I went to High School at who had one of these along with its Blazer counterpart. Very convincing in every aspect!
