  15. G' Day Folks, Continuing on with my 'muscle car' builds, here's my next installment ! 1/25 AMT kit, I've read somewhere this kit has been re-issued quite a few times, I was disapointed that this issue from 2006 had no 'GT500' decals , so I decided to build this a little different. It's one of those kits that has lots of pin marks and flash, so you have to do a lot of prep work, the chrome trees were not good, some parts were damaged, the wheels were quite bad, the list goes on! Anyway, I'm happy how it turned out, I gave it a tough street cruiser look Color is 'Mr Color' Metallic Blue, wheels are deep dish Nascar Steels from the 'The Parts Box', my usual details with the engine and semigloss black interior. Cheers and thanks for looking Ray
  16. Guys, I use the 'Humbrol' brand of paints for interior wood grain finishes, I start with a light color base coat, then use darker colors over the grain using the dry brushing method for the desired look Thanks for the further comments everyone, much appreciated !
  17. Exceptional work Rodrigo, impressive engine bay details
  18. I use Spray cans and never had any problems, so I'll stick with them Like a lot of guys have said, stick with the basic rules, warm the can, mist coats etc and I go that one step further using the Tamiya polishing compounds for a nice finish
  19. 'Down Under' is a long way to come , thanks for your comment mate Thanks for your comment too David. G
  20. Nice work Josh, like the engine details, the 'dip stick' is a nice touch
