Bad Nickle Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 GO GREEN!!! This is just AMAZING!!!! Way too cool!
Lucas van H Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Richard, that is gorgeous! I've been thinking to do something like this for a while and this is great inspiration! Lucas.
rsxse240 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) You need a color that will accentuate all of that beautiful body sculpture. Dark green may take away from it. Silver, metallic gray, light blue, or a silver with a smoke tinted clear should do it. Maybe a pastel light green. Edited April 16, 2015 by rsxse240
crazyrichard Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) thnx guys and no no updates i was busy outside building a small flowing river around the back of my pond > pump > filter chanmers and uvc light > outlet into a fast flowing part in the start of the river , then it gardually slows down and part of the river looks standing still , then around a bend and into a waterfall back in the pond so busy on that now Edited April 24, 2015 by crazyrichard
crazyrichard Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 thnx bob ! (bit late from me oops) but i put some paint on the hauler ... metallic black .. rattle can from duplicolor .. and the flakes are silver and tiny .. so i'm happy they are great on scale . you cant see yet on the pic ... just shot that right after the last coat .. so its uber wet .. already saw it dryes up matte ... i though gloss but no .. maybe its the primer .. no big deal now i can add logos and last a layer of clear
crazyrichard Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 paint is dry and hard , really weird stuff its so smooth and slippery its almost like buffed paint .. everything slides of ... great !!! never saw paint this smooth out of a can .. now its dryed up semi gloss and needs clear , the can also says that it needs clear .. also to make the metallic come to life the metallic flakes > real fine so perfect for the scale .... cant waight to see some clear on it and also get a deep reflective shine in the black now i'm thinking maybe do a mild two tone .... maybe
bobthehobbyguy Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Looks great in black. Should look great glossy.
Jantrix Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 already saw it dryes up matte ... i though gloss but no .. maybe its the primer .. All the Duplicolor stuff does that. Its because it's an automotive lacquer I believe. It sure does lay down nicely though. I think its because it sprays out in a fan shape rather than a cone like most sprays, it's easier to get an even coat. Looking good Rich.
426-Hemi Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 -THAT looks KILLER all shiny. I bet the metal flake will make that rig "pop" when your done!
