Beautiful job on this build, Jim. Fantastic detail work. Thanks for reviving this thread, Skip...I saw the WIP thread but never did find the under glass pics.

Outstanding build Jim. Really admire your attention to details. I'll ask the same question as above: what paints were used?  Can't see the seats real well but it looks like you have captured the "leather look" in there. What did you use to do that?

I recently got a very old plastic toy of the XK120 roadster, which is about 1/15-1/16 scale. While it's truly a toy with metal axles, a thing that passes for an engine block, hollow 1-sided tires/wheels, and is missing the dashboard, the body is amazingly accurate. It won't take much to turn it into a very nice curbside club racer like the one in this thread, using a few parts from the 1/16 Jaguar SS100, and the hand-lace wire wheels from the 1/16 Mercedes SS Sonder Kabriolet make it look awesome.
