oldscool Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 She's as done as she's going to get. The sun came out! This thing is a dust magnet for some reason. And here's one with the AMT five window built about ten years ago with the new whitewalls. Only changes from my original build are the interior color (original was just black plastic), whitewalls ( they are so nice I just couldn't resist using them) and this one actually has tail lights. This has been the most fun build in years. Start to finish in less than two weeks. Thanks for looking in,
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 looks good. A little black washing on the grille will make it look even better.
wayne swayze Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 That's how I wanted mine to look like back in the 60s. Still couldn't pull it off today...your's is WAY COOL!!
fseva Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Gorgeous! Is this the AMT kit that was just released, or had you been holding onto one? Are those headers and pipes included in the kit? Awesome!
Old Nasty Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Now that's a hot rod. Edited April 26, 2015 by Old Nasty

Awesome! This is the new release and everything is OOB except the tail lights. They are custom parts from the AMT 64 Marauder.
bamadon Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Looks really good. I like the paint color choice.
bobthehobbyguy Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Very nice and clean. Great you were able to take a trip down memory lane.

oldscool Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) This one is for you Tulio - grill is washed. Looks a little streaky but I'm leaving it alone as I would hate to mess this build up. Edited April 26, 2015 by oldscool
oldscool Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 Thanks to everyone for taking the time to look and comment on this build.
Prince Ital Mike Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Very nice build. And with the wash on the grill she looks much better.
