John Goschke
Well, all these beautiful replica stock Virgil Exner fantasies are just too nice. So I'll be the first hoodlum to crash the party with this wild/mild custom Sport Fury...

1959scudetto
Just gorgeous!!!!! Fantastic, John- though I'm not into customs and rods, one this looks like it sprang out of the cover of an old hot rod magazine back in the day (say 1959/60) - from the paint, wheel covers, lake pipes - everything looks period correct - spot on!!! gtx6970
Great thread...I'm afraid the only 59 chrysler kit I have is the Imperial. ..and it's still in the box. But I do have a bunch of 1959 Kits. (its the year I was born and I am on a mission to obtain most of the kits produced for the 1959 Model year ) I do have one on each side thats done though. Tom Geiger
As I was born in 1959, what about '59 cars, Helmut, I also collect 1959s. I was born in September 1958 and the 1959 model cars were being built on the day I was born! So I collect them as my birth year cars. Nice models everyone! Deano
Only '59 Mopar I have built, and it's an old one: my 59 Imperial custom.
1959scudetto
For me, it's the 22nd of September, so the 1960 models were already on the run at that time, I think.
1959scudetto
Dean, really cool convertible, the only thing I do not like are those oversized (22" ?) wheels, but somehow they fit to your Imperial.
