YBlock292 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 My 1971 Plymouth GTX has just left the showroom and is sitting now in the driveway, waiting to go downtown on a Friday nite:
10thumbs Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Wow! Ludwig, I'd love to come along for a Friday Night cruise! Let's both be happy this puppy has an automatic, or you'll need new tires next week. The car looks excellent and the paint job does such a cool Mopar justice. Rally Wheels look correct, and a 440-6 is a cool number, the last of the best. Well done. Michael
YBlock292 Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 Thanks Michael for Your kind words! It was very much fun to build this kit. I like the golden paint on this car very much. Best regards Ludwig
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Nice Ludwig! Not one of the most attractive GTX body styles IMO, but it does grow on you! Steve
426-Hemi Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 LOVE the hood pins! Does the hood "open" with those?
oldscool Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 This is beautiful! The one thing that spoils it is not your fault and that is the dots in the center of the headlight lenses. They can be removed by sanding and polishing the backside of the lenses.
YBlock292 Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Thank You very much for Your positive feedback! John: I glued the wires which hold the hood pins to the hood, not to the grille, so I can remove the hood. Ludwig
David G. Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Nicely done, excellent work on the trim and details. David G.
Mike 1017 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Hope you still have a license by the end of the nite !!!
