jbattersby Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 After 2 years of work she's finally finished! I got lucky that my balcony ends up being a great location to do a little photoshoot when the sun is out, so I might re-shoot some of my older models out there soon. This was a box stock build using Zero Paints Rosso Corsa for the exterior and Revell Enamel SM314 for the tan interior. Thanks again for the comments during the build, enjoy the pics!
Guest Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Absolutely stunning! That last interior shot!!!!!!!!! Oh my!
bbowser Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Great model and great photos! A couple of those could go in the "real or model" section.
tmathew1us Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Excellent modelling skills, and beautiful photography!! You did an excellent job with the gullwing doors, which can be tricky on this model.
jbattersby Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 Thanks guys! I must have gotten lucky with the doors, the only trouble I had was that they didn't sit flush on both the top and the bodyside, just took a bit of gentle bending the plastic to get them to sit right. Other then that it was pretty smooth build, minus having to repaint the passenger side door and the hood because of dust on my part.
Nacho Z Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Like bbowser said, there are a few of your pictures that could go under "Real or model?" Let me echo others, beautiful model and great photography!
