ranma Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Hope this thread don't turn ugly. But I my self would like to see:1. 59-67 Impala wagon kit's2. 59-64 ford country squire Kit's3. Brady Bunch Plymoth wagon4.70-77 Chevy, Pontiac or Oldsmobile wagon'sI know some will say wagons are stinkers and why model companies should not do it, But with the suscess of the 57 Frod Del-Rio it could happen!
Crazy Ed Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 How's 'bout a couple of Pontiacs! The '55 Safari and '63 Tempest. For the '63 make it a 2 in 1 with chioces for either a Slant 4 or 326, 389 or 421 Dual Quad Super Duty, with the difference for the last 3 being Manifolds and Carb choices.
gtx6970 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) I'm not a wagon fan as a ruleBut,,,,,,,, if they did an early 60s or late 50s Chrysler product I'd buy one of two Edited July 18, 2015 by gtx6970
Guest Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) You can add a Corvair wagon to the list. Edited July 18, 2015 by midnightprowler
FordRodnKustom Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 A 58 Bermuda would be cool, based off the Del Rio tool. or a 69 LTD squire based off the Galaxie kit I could go on but these will do for now.
peekay Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I would DEFINITELY buy any of the above - or any wagon you care to name!
Brett Barrow Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 All theTri-Five Handymans (Handymen?) and Sedan Deliveries!!!!1!!!1!!!1! Especially a certain '56 SD.
Greg Myers Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) Yes to the Handymen and A little class ? Edited July 18, 2015 by Greg Myers
espo Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I also would like to see some more long roofs. We must remember that they model companies must be able to show a profit on the tooling which would mean selling many kits. Also some of the requested models are now available thru several resin casters and this my fill your needs. Still I'll keep my fingers crossed that the new Ford wagon does well for Revell and that may get them to consider some additional wagon models.
disabled modeler Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Id welcome any very late 50s through mid 70s wagons....64,66-70 Bonneville/Safari 67-70 Impala/Caprice64-70 Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge61-70s Ford/Mercury60-70s Olds/BuickWhile were at it why not make these and camping trailers to put behind them in kits..?

Or ANY of the Vistacruisers (or equivalent Buicks) from '64 to '67. Also love to see the '55-'57 Chev wagons detailed above. You can put me down for at least one of each--even 4-doors. (I can make Modified Production or Stock racers out of them.) Would also love to see them flesh out their '66-'67 Chevelle line with a '67 wagon and matching El Camino (most very especially the latter). Hey, if we have Eric Foreman's '70 Vistacruiser, we need Hyde's '67 Elky to go with it.
vettecote Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I think station wagons of any make would be a great addition!...Joe
oldcarfan Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I love wagons in general, so I buy any wagon when I find them. Here is my '57 converted from a 1/25 Jesse James die-cast.
Brett Barrow Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Ok, so maybe it's a truck and not a station wagon per se, but a 64-65 Suburban would be cool and could be based on existing Revell tooling...

mr moto Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Easy question for me! How about a '54 Studebaker Conestoga?
Muncie Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) I would like to see the 1956 Chevrolet 210 Handyman two door wagon.Although when I say two door wagon most people think "Nomad?", there are differences between the Nomad and the HandymanRevell already has the chassis in the Nomad and a some of the design work for the Del Ray could be carried over. Still more to do because it would take a full body and interior. I could see the kit coming with solid panels for the side windows to do the sedan delivery so Revell could get more out of the kit.. Yeah I know sedan deliveries had the shorter 150 side trim but many sedan deliveries have been modified with the 210 trim. For model builders, easier to sand the trim off if you want a 150 than to add it. Edited July 18, 2015 by Muncie
