SfanGoch Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 That certainly puts things into perspective.
bbowser Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Is it any wonder English is so hard to learn? One word means so many different things! 1

Everest some day."Or if that's too ambitious a goal, you could always "scale" it back to something less ambitious.Crazy language for sure.
Danno Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 "Scale" is also used as a noun to refer to the rate of pay unions demand from employers. I.e., 'You must pay union scale to have the job done by union workers.'
keyser Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Whole topic kinda fishy. (Cannot believe thread made it this far without that joke) 1

But now all I can do is to tell you that "fish scales" was mentioned a long time ago on this thread. You really need to start reading the thread before posting a reply...
keyser Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I saw your scales. Just not the fishies. Lol. I read it it's funny. I posted a scaly jeep. Can't pass a lame joke though. Full credit for "first!!111!!!"
Deathgoblin Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 The two bombers aren't really scaled. The smaller is a B-29/B-50 Superfortress by Boeing (judging by the tail, probably the B-29), the larger is a B-36 Peacemaker by Convair. More like difference in generation than scale. Nice pic, though.
