charlie8575 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Nice color choice, Al. Man, did that clean up nice. Considering what you started with, it's quite remarkable. Charlie Larkin
ChrisBcritter Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Nice color! Bet this will result in the ultimate "before and after" photos.
Porscheman Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) Chrome is done and the window tint and interior are drying. I should be able to finish it later today. Edited October 26, 2015 by Porscheman

Ron Hamilton Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Abbra Cadabra!!!!!!! We should start call you "The Magician"! You worked some serious magic on that one. I'm glad I could help with the hood. That came out sweet!!!
Snake45 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I bow down to your Glue Bomb-Fu. You ARE The Master.
426-Hemi Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 WOW what a job done to that Rambler! I can't believe thee sheer amount of paint on that puppy when ya got it! GREAT color choice on the re-paint..... GREAT looking over all too, nicely detailed exterior! What ya do for a engine?
victorylane Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Hi Al, That is not only an amazing transformation, but a very pretty build. So glad I got to watch the process...thanks for posting. Really nice work Brian
Skip Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 That turned out really nice! Just goes to show that something someone else might have made some sorta "Rat Rambler" out of can be rubbed the right way to look as good if not better than it was supposed to the first time around!I sort of have a soft spot for Rambler Americans, my Dad had a '60 and a White'65, the '65 lost the "R" on the back so it was the ultra rare "ambler American"! It was like that when my Dad got it, he traded it for a '63 VW Bug, (I think he even made $50 on the deal).
Geno Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Excellent work, you'd never know it was the same model.
ChrisBcritter Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) That poor Rambler had more paint on it than Ann-Margret in The Swinger, but you sure did a fine job of de-gunking it!How about a photo of the engine?Good work with the Alclad as well. Edited October 28, 2015 by ChrisBcritter
