Plastheniker Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Hi, IMO the 1966 coupe was the best-looking C2 Corvette. When I built my model in the early nineties there was no '66 kit available so I modified Monogram's '65 coupe, i. e. mainly making the egg-crate grille and the ribbed rocker valances. Of course colours are a matter of taste, but I always thought that 1:1 C2 coupes had to be silver with black interiors. As far as I remember this was a typical Monogram kit: Reasonable price, no major issues and a convincing result.
Kenny B Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Jurgen, What a beautiful build. Your picture taking is perfect. It looks like the real car. Very very nicely done.Ken.
Snake45 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 You forgot to mention that you correctly removed the vents on the roof. Well done!
GMCMAN52 Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Like everyone else. WOW silver just look right
Roadracer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 WOW! Great looking model.........(Or was that a model?) Nice work!!
Jim Whalen Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Very nice build. My favorite vettes are the C2s as well. Got a few in the stash to build - hope they capture the feel of the cars as nicely as your model has done.
Silver Foxx Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 A top class build , you do beautiful work .
