PlowKing Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Trying something a little different than my norm of heavy snow plows and concrete trucks. Still work to go, but it's coming along. Heavily weathered and personally made graffiti decals. Thanks for looking. Ryan
towman1271 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Now that's using imagination! that's cool
Renegade Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 That's thinking out of the box. Great build.
Jonj238 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I really love weathered and distressed builds, even though I'm afraid to try one myself.
Jim B Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Vary realistic. Looks like it's been parked in The Bronx too long.
gatorincebu Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Ryan, That is a cool build. And yes it is quite a bit different from your norm! And yes you are doing a jam up job on it as well. Be Well Gator
tbill Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 that is pretty sweet! great idea and execution.
PlowKing Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Thanks for the good words gentlemen!
SpreadAxle Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 WOW! Great work on the weathering. It's very, very believable.
PlowKing Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 A little more work on the C series. More graffiti and a slashed tire. I find beating up a model is more fun than building a clean one!
Tom Geiger Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Nice work! I have a lot more fun with the beat up ones than the shiny ones!
schooldude Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Wow, your right Ryan.....WAY out of the comfort zone....nice graffiti.
SpreadAxle Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Vary realistic. Looks like it's been parked in The Bronx too long. That was literally my first thought. lol
Chuck Most Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 This is the coolest interpretation of this kit I've seen in quite a while! It would look great in a shabby alley diorama.
disabled modeler Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I like it...very cool and realistic looking.
gotnitro? Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Very cool Ryan! The artwork looks fantastic on the model, really been vandalized! Is that a Cranesville mixer lurking in background?
1972coronet Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Excellent ! Reminds me of the kind of things that I saw when I was visiting family in NYC in 1989 (during its early stages of "clean up" ... for better or worse) . Super job on the Graf ; very aunthentic , down to the "buffed-and-recapped" backdrop .
