According to some of these dweebs, there is a significant "military presence" (maybe part of Jade Helm?) who stop anyone from coming too close to "Antarctica" (you know, the REAL ice wall...) under some nebulous international "treaty".

Hmmm...IIRC, Antarctica is where the secret alien underground base was, I saw it in the first X-Files movie.  Maybe that's what they are hiding there.

Even though I think these people are borderline retarded, I am always intrigued by their serious arguments for this type of stuff. I listened to the whole thing while playing GTA V. It really is bizarre that people believe this and take it seriously. All of the points in the video are absolutely absurd. 

the one thing that stood out is the fact they argue we have never been past a certain point in space, yet someone supposedly build this massive dome, which ends in space. I dunno, i think I might be dumber after watching all of that.

Yep. For reasons unknown some people just need to believe in some sort of conspiracy. Whether it's Area 51, JFK's assassination or the black helicopters, they intensely NEED to believe this. It may be some sort of mental illness on the same level as hoarding or OCD. You can't sway them with facts or proof, because to them the proof is fabricated by the very same mysterious people that conspire to hide the "real truth". I have tried talking to someone like this and afterward I wanted to just bang my head against the wall. I will admit though, this "flat earth" theory is about as wacky an idea as I've ever heard. I mean the fact that you can't seem to fly from Australia to Argentina without a layover, is seen somehow as "proof" of the theory. Man that's thin.

It gets thinner! You can fly non-stop from Australia to Brazil or Chile, or New Zealand to Buenos Aires. What's the "stopper" that they believe prevents people flying from Australia to Argentina, and why shouldn't it apply to those existing flights? My guess would be the lack of flights direct from Australia to Buenos Aires has more to do with whether you can find enough passengers to profitably fill a 777 on that run...

I know logic is wasted on them...
