Helix Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Around the same time Erik Smith posted his beautiful 65 Chevelle wagon, I was on the final stages of completing mine. So it's finished now and Erik and I have gone Surfin if anyone is looking for us ! Tamiya Coral Blue with a few details thrown in, nice kit to build Surfboards are resin copies from 'The Parts Box' painted Tamiya racing white and the stripe decals are from old kits to give them the 60s look Cheers Ray
Renegade Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Cool surf wagon. Looks ready to hit the beach.
Erik Smith Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Love the two tone paint and color choice. See you at the beach bro!
disabled modeler Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 The venetian blinds are a great touch!YES...they are a awesome touch...love the whole build..!
Helix Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Thanks guys, appreciate the comments ! Yeah the Venetians were scratchbuilt using some 'Evergreen', probably a little out of scale, but you get the idea
Dominik Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Yours is also a beautiful built! very nice color and paintjob, interesting look with the tainted glass and also the wheels have a nice touch with the redwalls. really like it!
Cool Hand Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 As always mate clean build and well detailed, agree with others that the venetians are a great addition and look the part.Kinda has a sleeper look to it.
W-409 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Very nice Surf Wagon! I like that overall look with those wheels and tires and color combo. Tinted windows and sharp detailing in the engine bay are great touches. Very nice job.
